He lacks compatibility and like-ability. If a guy is not compatible with my values, personality, goals, and lifestyle then he is either not considered at all or is demoted to hook up material. Same for if there are more traits about him that I dislike than like.

Personally, when doing casual I’m not giving my 100%. No emotional intimacy, no gifts, no kind gestures, no caring about his day or his favorite sports team. Not even the sex is my 100% best. I’m not doing backflips on the D for a guy who is not buying me flowers and taking me out. I have a lot to offer and he doesn’t receive any of the benefits. If mediocre pussy is what you want and consider successful, then do you. But I do not consider receiving mediocre dick an accomplishment.

People who watch porn frequently internalize thoughts and feelings on what bodies should look like and how sex should be executed. These thoughts and feelings are projected onto other people and their partner, therefore, negatively impacting everyone. Speaking from personal experience, I've had guys send me porn as examples of what they'd like me to do in the bedroom and it was never anything vanilla, it was always something taboo. Guys have also described what they like on a woman's body: round…

You’re gonna have to spell it out for me. Women date assholes because they’re so sexy, these women become single moms and/or leave the relationship with baggage, and then men don’t want to date these women due to said problems. If every man has to be an asshole to get women, then there won’t be kind men for women to choose from. Women won’t be able to choose better.

Still sounds like a good deal! Nothing wrong with being friends with women. A romantic and sexual connection still requires physical attraction, compatibility, and flirting.

For someone to be considered kind, they also have to be patient, empathetic, generous, respectful, considerate, and friendly. Surprisingly (/s), if you’re kind to women, there’s a higher chance they’ll want to be around you. Maybe even sleep with you.

Generally offline, most men won’t care about the color and shape of a woman’s labia. But every girl and woman at some point has heard a boy or man refer to labia as meat curtains, roast beef sandwich, “is it bubble gum pink?”, wizard sleeve, and other nasty things. Girls and women internalize that and see it reinforced in porn ; therefore creating shame, embarrassment, and insecurity.

I am interested and do care a lot about men’s thoughts and experiences around dating. I’ve had deep personal conversations with my guy friends where we’ve discussed racism, religion, cultural backgrounds, attachment issues, past trauma, fears, ambitions, masculinity, and how all of that affects their love life and sex life. Where you lose me is when men say they’re lonely because women won’t have sex with them, therefore women need to lower their standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/25 09:53 AM

Purely anecdotal, but I’ve only dated one “attractive” guy (6ft, fit/muscular, full head of hair, dresses nice, fancy brand new car), and he was more romantic and attentive than the average (or “ugly”) guys I dated. The average guys were nonchalant, distant, and treated me like an option. So YMMV I guess!

Not everyone wants to have kids of their own and some can't make kids of their own. If you've always dreamed of having a family then dating someone with kids is a viable option. Plus not everyone views children as baggage or sees parenting as a burden. I'm not sure why you view children and step-parenting so poorly.

I wouldn’t say negative, but concerning. I’ve noticed that autistic men will put me on a pedestal, they look at me in awe. You think this would be flattering, but they idolize the image of me they’ve made up in their head. They don’t care about the real me, even when I’ve attempted to correct them. This happened years ago when an autistic man confessed that he was in love with me, despite knowing nothing about me.

Flirting requires charisma which looks different person to person. Own your personality and looks and make it work for you. For example, the word Adorkable comes to mind. Compliments are a major indicator of flirting. Don’t make it about physical appearance like her body or her smile. Compliment her clothes or hairstyle, compliment her choice of cheese and wine, compliment her funny joke. Touching/breaking the physical barrier is another one. I’m not talking about holding hands, hugs, or kissing…

What is the bare minimum if being nice and nonviolent is not?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/24 04:51 AM

If someone were mean or rude, you’d be taken aback because you weren’t expecting that behavior. That’s because being nice is a bare minimum human trait. People don’t want to date someone is physically violent, yet physically abusive people get into relationships all the time. Does that mean we shouldn’t strive to be nonviolent? Is wanting a partner who is nonviolent a high standard?

The male gaze dehumanizes women. I would hope women's partners see them as normal and complex human beings. Not all men view and treat women as pretty things for their enjoyment. There's nothing wrong with a man finding his partner sexy, but it gets old really fast when you can't change your clothes without your partner initiating sex.

Marg clocked it back in 1994: Male fantasies, male fantasies, is everything run by male fantasies? Up on a pedestal or down on your knees, it's all a male fantasy: that you're strong enough to take what they dish out, or else too weak to do anything about it. Even pretending you aren't catering to male fantasies is a male fantasy: pretending you're unseen, pretending you have a life of your own, that you can wash your feet and comb your hair unconscious of the ever-present watcher peering throug…

No. Back in college there was a 6’+ guy that was into me and I could not reciprocate those feelings. He was mentally ill (pathological liar, narcissist), had awful BO, and would sometimes have a boogie hanging out his nose. Those qualities took away from his towering height, big biceps, and full head of hair.

As an average or below average woman who enjoys exploring the world alone, I do not get approached, like ever. I'm 28 years old and I can't recall a single time a man has ever approached me to ask for my number or offered to take me on a date. It's a blessing and a curse.

This advice is for heterosexual men, women love ass just as much as men do. And like I said, that's what worked on me. I was swiping thru Bumble and saw a profile with a blurry face picture, no prompts, and pictures of him from the neck down wearing speedos and jockstraps on his connected Instagram account. If I was closer to the door and was reaching for it, he'd still rush ahead of me to open and hold it for me. He'd insist on paying for our lunches even if I already told him that I would be paying. There were other things as well that signaled that he could be interested. It could be how he was raised, but in my experience, men don't typically interact with their colleagues like that.

If your partner has a serious high-stakes project at work, has a loved one who has been seriously injured or passed away, got into a car accident and totaled their car, received a scary medical diagnosis, etc you'd prefer they suck it up so that they can give you duty sex? Are you suggesting that you both ignore their problems in favor of catering to yours? You're not meeting them halfway at all, instead, you're pushing them to build resentment which will then lead to a dead bedroom.

Get back in line flesh sack #42069! Challenge the status quo again and we’ll have you to sent to the reeducation camps. In my opinion, if there is an aspect of someone’s life that is causing them distress they should work to address it and improve their circumstance. Porn, movies, and social media sell a fantasy. Young gorgeous sexy women loooove socially inept ugly men. She loves video games, beer, football, and blowjobs just like him! But it can still feel like a slap in the face when you’ve put in so much time, energy, and love only for your efforts to not pay off or be reciprocated. I'm really not trying to turn this into the oppression olympics because men absolutely face issues that are worth acknowledging and rectifying. All movements receive pushback. Radical misandrists aren't a thing, unless you're talking about those women on Twitter that write things like "I hate men" and "kill all men". But even then, do those tweets manifest in real life? Could be as romantic as he's really doting on her and knows exactly how to make her smile I honestly think it's this. Women care A LOT about how you can make her feel. If you can make her feel special and cared for like she's the only girl in the world, she'll be head-over-heels for you.

Ok and? So men are gonna let some mean words put a stop to their movement? As if feminists aren’t also referred to as feminazis, land whales, lonely cat ladies, spinsters, old maids, misandrists, and man haters. Join the club dude! Well yes, a woman is the one who gets pregnant so her life is impacted more than the man’s. If the man wants to be a father, then she can sign way parental rights and pay him child support. I’m in the US and a majority of our politicians and lawmakers are men. I’d like to see more women in power, but as it stands, our govt is a sausage fest. Who else will make and enforce laws if not the men in power.

I don’t think my comment said anything about all women. All groups have bad apples, so ya there are women who will exploit MeToo. If this exploitation is an epidemic, men should advocate for better laws and protections, and create resources for men whose lives have been negatively impacted by false accusations.

/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/24 10:12 PM

Women criticize those men because we believe they are blowing it out of proportion ("oh so I can't even give my co-worker a high-5 anymore?") and we're concerned about their ability to self-regulate. It's not difficult, scary, or life-threatening not to touch people, to think before speaking, and to be self-aware. People do it all the time. However, that requires you to be sympathetic, patient, and adaptable.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/24 09:38 PM

That would still be valid because you're making this claim based on your experiences.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/24 09:29 PM

I could see 0 being concerning, but an attractive man having a low body count would turn more women on than off. It show that he has standards and discipline, and that’ll make whatever women he’s with feel special. He’s picky and picked her. Women like to feel special, like we’re the only woman he has eyes for.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/24 10:12 PM

This analogy isn’t helping your case tbh How can you know if someone is a great in bed if you’ve only had a sample? If we’re using your example, how can someone describe the complex flavors and know how to cook the food if they’ve only had a spoonful? Someone who eats a lot food is not considered a food critic or a chef.

How does her response not answer your question? Red pill people are usually on the conservative side and are often right leaning. So if I’m on a date with a man and I tell him I like going to Drag Queen Brunch, if he grimaces and says that stuff is weird and gross, well now I know we’re not compatible. You learn about people by talking to them and going on dates.

You’re using strong language for something that is not that serious. Why would any person feel DISGUST and HATRED at the thought of having sex with someone they like? You said that, not anyone else. And yes, men also have sex with women they aren’t interested in or compatible with. How else would casual sex work? The difference in your example is the power dynamic. She is the one in control, she has the power. She decides who she wants next and how she wants him. In a male gaze example, the men would be in control. They would be passing her around and deciding how to handle her. Female sexuality is just as varied and diverse as male sexuality. Some want plot, others just wanna get straight to business.

Probably that as well. But also in straight porn, when the man is receiving a blow job, it’s focused on the women’s face/body and the noises she’s making. As a straight woman myself, I want to see the man’s face/body and hear his noises as he receives the BJ because I’m attracted to men, not women. In gay porn, you’re guaranteed to see and hear attractive men receive pleasure.

Maybe the commenter was exaggerating by using “murder.” Perhaps they mean very upset. At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter if it’s a ridiculous perception. Safety is more important than feelings. Women don’t like having to be cautious of men, but we don’t know if he’ll threaten to hurt us or actually go thru with doing it. If you have a problem with that, take it up with your fellow man.
