Yes it is. Could false charges be brought yeah. But there is no court in the US that is going to continue a trial where the accuser doesn't show up. There is injustice in how cases are brought against men especially in cases of violence/rape but the accusor still has to bring the charges and show up or the case will be thrown out. Period.
