But the article states that women still messaged equally, with women messaging average men at the highest rate. Men still only messaged the most attractive women...?

So MRA's are beaten by police for peaceful protesting to have basic voting rights, then imprisoned and force fed with dirty tubes shoved down their nostrils? Wonder why that event there never made the news. Probably because it never happened.

Another thing that really makes me pissed off about that OkCupid study is the fact that online dating is more participated in by guys that are lower attractiveness. So that study is stupid, it's not women thinking average guys were ugly, it's just that there was a higher percentage of ugly dudes using OkCupid than in real life. I'm so sick of TRPers and men using that one single, non-scientific study as an end all be all of the 80/20 theory. So dumb.

But, in the eyes of most RPers, a woman becomes less valuable with every new guy she sleeps with. Money can be earned back, but the woman will be considered less valuable for the rest of her life. What then?

If you actually think that those were male inventions then clearly you're ignoring facts and history. But feelz before realz, right? Just ignore the truth because you'd rather believe that all contributions have been made by men even when clearly they haven't been. Go look it up and stop living in your fantasy world.

That's the thing though, as I said in my original comment, I am not a quiet nor a shy girl. I'm actually quite outspoken. Which makes the constant interruptions and disregard for my input even more puzzling and hints to the cause of this as being subconscious sexism on their part. They aren't bad guys, they probably just have no idea that they're doing it.

Lol what? Do you not realize how many inventions and scientific discoveries were made by women? How far behind in technology we'd be without the contributions of women? You'd prefer to have half of the population's brain power shackled at home? edit: without women, we wouldn't have syringes, life rafts, heaters, rotary engines, refrigerators, wireless transmissions technology, kevlar, etc.

I think you're being too quick to dismiss her experiences just because you don't want to believe that they're true. Having to prove yourself as being competent more often than your co workers is very common in STEM, I have a few female family members in STEM fields and we've all discussed it. I'm a woman in a STEM major at school, and I have many friends in my major and have studied with a lot of other students, as most people do. My male classmates all regard each other as being smart unless pr…
