Oh, that's really interesting. From what I've read (not an expert at all, don't trust that I'm getting any of the details right) the short attention span and distractibility associated with ADHD have to do with low levels of norepinephrine in the brain. Stimulants treat ADHD by inducing more production of norepinephrine (and dopamine), so it would make sense that you could treat it by inhibiting reuptake instead. Vyvanse is a stimulant similar to Adderall. Ultimately both of them get dextroamphetamine into your system, the difference is the method of delivery.
