this is so tiresome "He made this for me!" that makes me think of an actual gift, like he baked a cake or made some kind of handicraft. No. He typed text over womens butts in a low-effort meme. And of course all the people that subscribe to r / memes just eat it up. The bar is in hell.

I'd be more okay with a poor guy, if he was actually responsible with what funds he did have. I don't make a lot of money, so I get it. But you save your money, live within your means best you can. The job market where I live sucks, nothing pays well, even before COVID. But so many poor LVM here spend any extra money they have on weed or video games, while complaining about having no money. It is not attractive at all. A self-sufficient lower-income guy is another story.

I (early 20s) used to want children really bad, like 3+ children, but now I'm undecided and angling towards not wanting kids ever unless I find a man who would share responsibilities well and be an actual partner. Which seems... very unlikely. I honestly have given up on men for now lol. I started dating after 18 and realized that a lot of men want kids, but do not want to contribute at all. They're just concerned about "muh legacy" or having a son. I wanted kids until I saw multiple women in my…

Cut both of them off-- block him, block her. It's not worth your mental energy. I had a couple of older (mid-twenties) boyfriends before I was 20 and they were not worth the energy. I deal with anger from it still, once in a while, but put your energy into something else. He doesn't define you. Your friend is likely being groomed too, but if she doesn't believe you, and will not listen, she's not worth your friendship or support either. It's not your job to make other people see your truth. Be t…

I genuinely think reddit/twitter/etc. meme culture contributes a lot to disgusting attitudes. dating someone removed from meme/internet culture takes a certain weight off

I remember I blocked a guy a while back who I was getting to know on Snapchat because he sent me a r*pe joke meme. I was worried I was too extreme-- but now I realize that when they try to push boundaries like this, they're seeing what else you will tolerate.

My ex used to do this. Shortly before the end of our relationship, he insisted on driving, and fast at 100mph on a highway despite me begging him to slow down... in my car. A year before that I actually yelled at him to slow down in his car (he was "racing someone") and nearly cried. His idiot druggie friends thought I was the crazy one. LVMs all around with bad credit scores. He had no respect for me at all.

Same here (5'9''). I'm hesitant to date a guy shorter than me after a couple of bad first dates in which they got SUPER insecure really quickly. Especially once when I wore heels 🥴 dude took it as an offense. clowns all around

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
