Why don't you stop thinking of people as factoids that can be broken down into 'no short dude ever has been accepted by a woman' - patently false - because that's what your personality and negative attitude have created for yourself?

My uncle was a short-arsed Brit who avoided women because he was too short. Every woman he met thought he was incredibly charming, intelligent and eccentric, because he was; every time I visited him I'd meet a few women who leaned in to tell me how much they liked him but he wasn't interested. He ignored their advances, he literally didn't notice because? He was short. And that was his entire view of himself. Much like you, but with actual charm and no internet to keep him idiotic. He had to do …

My last BF was an inch shorter than me - and I generally go for tall guys. He also looks a bit like a hedgehog. He was positive, good-mannered, talented and dude? personality counts. That's where your issues lie. There are lots of short women, there are many who prefer good behavior to good looks... but you're glaring at them because you've shifted your judgment of yourself as worthless (which might very well be true) to them. If only you could stand on a soapbox and shout out your self-hatred i…

So we all understand that marrying up isn't genderized, just more available.

Yeah, Prince Phillip was totally not marrying up.

Everyone wants to marry up.

Woman. Stare at everyone. No problem admitting it.

But using it to bash women makes true-or-not irrelevant.

Most of the out-of-shape people I know are gamers - male, always a bit grubby, and soft as marshmallows. They use the same arguments you present. Looks like its not the gendered issue you thought it was.

I can't do it, but I'm a professional conversational voyeur.

You'll never hear a woman over 40 say it without giggling madly.

Yes, that would be one difference between girls and women.

I'd ask what parameters they were interested in setting up. My first companion was introduced to 'cheering up the new widow' at 16 and never gave it up. So that was a discussion about boundaries.

Or just those who refuse to make an effort, and blame women for their awkwardness. Nah, bruh, that's all you.

I've buried two husbands, have a current partner and no issues with understanding signals or words, but... sure.

Yeah, I've never actually heard women complain about that, so I'll have to take your word for it. Of course, you don't understand women, who are aliens, so I have a suspicion that you're not understanding their words while you're listening in on them.

No, women don't have to dumb it down for you. Frankly, its helpful when guys reveal they have no actual interest in women - as you do. You get to keep your intentional ignorance, we get to hang with dudes who don't see us as aliens. Win/win.

You seem to be mistaking children for adults. Girls for women. Also, your complaint isn't about *women* sending false signals, you're upset that you yourself are incapable of reading signals. That's not the fault of women - that's the result of an adolescent choice on your part to wall yourself off and learn only masculine signals - which you can read because you put in the effort to learn.

Because we're using the OP's schematics. If you don't want incels in the mix, talk to him. Don't suggest you're a woman though, you might frighten him. :)

Oh, that's neutral. Wait, no, its not. Feminists have no group decision on unsuccessful romantics, of any gender or persuasion. So your point is invalid, in every particular. Incels aren't discredited for being unsuccessful in romance, but for being both physically and culturally dangerous to half the human race.

"Absolutely not"? Is that the quickest turn around in statement since Trump put two sentences together or WHAT? I'll point out that your BF's neph is not a metropolitan law office jr. assistant, 9-5, in the dark days of disco. The standards you're trying to set don't apply - its apples & oranges. His social abilities don't set the standard for what all 15yo's abilities have to be, male, female, asian, sparkly-- No. Context matters. It was a different time, a different place, an entirely differen…

Met my first companion when I was 15 and he was 59. We were together nearly seven years. It wasn't about looks or age, it was about compatibility. Baby feminists who are fiercely independent don't click with most men, including younger men - who somehow have the same gender expectations (mother/maid) as their great-grandfathers. Men who feel comfortable with women who manage their own lives are thin on the ground.

You are refusing to have any honest communication with your SO. You're acting the part of a rug, so he's walking on you. You haven't told him what you want, you haven't told him how you feel, you haven't told him that his behavior is absolutely unacceptable -- nope, you're asking him 'How did your day go, honey? You need me to make you a sammich?' If you want to be treated well, make it clear to your SO what being treated well looks like. From your behavior, as far as he knows, you've got this h…
