No worries! I didn't interpret it as an accusation. Just glad you gave credit where credit is due :)

wouldn't it be nice if both genders got to retire at the same age? I don't know where you live, but that's not the case where I live (Norway). America I presume?

well, people here are offended, aren't they?
/r/MensRights26/02/13 10:29 AM

Nope. My arguement was intented for catwalk models, since that's what I automatically think of when someone says "model". Sorry about that! :/ I still think height is the highest regard conneted to femininity for women mind you. I think we'll just have to agree on disagreeing.

To be a paragon of attractiveness for homosexual men, yes. Which is why most of them are slender, wide shouldered, have no hips, boobs or bottom.
/r/MensRights24/02/13 09:17 PM

when were models the preferred girlfriends? what would you want, a girlfriend taller than you?
/r/MensRights24/02/13 08:17 PM

height is also a stereotypical hallmark for feminity..Being 5ft4 is viewed as much more femine than 5ft11
/r/MensRights24/02/13 07:35 PM

how is bra size comperable to preferred height? Men can still set height requirements on those pages
/r/MensRights24/02/13 06:29 PM

how's the men being exploited? it's "trading". She gets materialistic stuff, tuition paid for etc., he gets sex, someone pretty to be his charm for events and the social aspect of not being alone

wow, most definitely a troll. It was one sentence, one example. Get over yourself
/r/MensRights29/12/12 10:58 AM

I never said I don't think women sexually assault? I never said lesbian relatioships don't have a problem with violence? All I said that nor myself or people I know have experienced it, just as an argument to back up my statement. Where do you get this from?
/r/MensRights25/12/12 07:32 PM

not at all. why is it, that if i say that i find some men violent, that i at the same time suddenly find all women wonderful and vanilla?
/r/MensRights24/12/12 10:48 PM

Now you tell me how men are supposed to feel about feminists. Today? That's like I should blame the nazis of today for the holocaust
/r/MensRights13/12/12 10:47 PM

I see your point, but what makes you think they are all feminists? A lot of people here use the term "feminist" as a cussword, like someone who's trying to supress men and make their lives hell.
/r/MensRights13/12/12 03:51 PM

I don't say that only men do it, personally I have never experienced it though, nor took part it in myself.
/r/MensRights13/12/12 09:35 AM

Ok? How is how men act to lesser men relevant?
/r/MensRights13/12/12 09:34 AM

well, that's just sick
/r/MensRights13/12/12 09:21 AM

just tell me how you showed emotion in the examples you mentioned? those are rational reactions, not emotions.. And why do you find it so unfair? Why are you threatened and offended by this? If someone said they found my hyper responses and emotions annoying and childish, why should i care? that's how i am
/r/MensRights12/12/12 09:29 PM

but why? only 17% of the representatives in the us congress are women, so in that case, most feminists that gets this through are men?
/r/MensRights12/12/12 09:24 PM

I do show emotions. You just don't pick up on it because you either don't know what to look for or are trying to define my emotional expression by your standards. never said you didn't. define 'creepy.' http://www.youtube.com/user/geogodley Never were raised with absence for men at all.

I know. I'm sorry, can't seem to find the link, but saw two statistics in my local newspaper last year.. :/
/r/MensRights12/12/12 08:14 PM

don't apologize, i appreciate it, thanks :) Interesting about yourself and your regard on showing emotions. I'm quite the opposite of your wife then, I find men that don't show emotion creepy and slightly sociopathic, as harsh as it seems. My upbringing was probably different from yours though, since I find it a great quality if a man is capable of actually expressing emotions openly, as it shows he's "beaten" society's norms on men and their public display of emotions. Not sure if I ever mentio…

Not trolling, but "provokified" the text to see where we stand, if you get me? I get that my post is insulting to men, I'm just airing out my feelings. I never stated that all men are like this, it's just the impression I get out there - and I find it sad too. Have luckily gained new knowledge about a lot of things, which I hoped for. Thanks for your input!

No, not at all, I appreciate your input! :)
/r/MensRights12/12/12 07:38 PM

I agree, there's a gray zone when it comes to drinking and all that. I still find it to be a difference in being intoxicated (buzzed, laughy, slightly drunk) and hammered to the extent where you have no idea what you're part of. Not sure if I want to believe it, but it might came off that way. Would be interesting to do a survey on it myself, though
/r/MensRights12/12/12 07:37 PM

haha, well if the door's not opening, what does it matter if she screams or not? she didn't have anyone to protect, and by screaming she's bringing attention.
/r/MensRights12/12/12 07:32 PM

Well, it IS funny when women do it! /s Nah, I mean, I've been to, and have friends who hang out at lesbian bars. They've never experienced groping, just as an example.
/r/MensRights12/12/12 07:31 PM

well, that simply just isn't true, I think you might want to watch that video again. I've seen it to, and what you're saying it false. One of the woman's first reaction was pressing the button
/r/MensRights12/12/12 07:21 PM

thank you for your honest reply..i realize my view on men might be wrong
/r/MensRights12/12/12 07:15 PM

Odds are they were asked something along the lines of "Would you have sex with a girl even if she was drunk, if given the opportunity?" And then changing it to rape later? That's a little too conspiracy-ish for me, I'm sorry. But there might be some truth there..

As hypocritical as it might sound, my father is the most loving person I know of. Also my best friend.
/r/MensRights12/12/12 07:10 PM

Thanks! You read it right, although I never looked for reasons to hate men. Don't think I've ever read a feminist article with the intention to spread hatred or anything like that, but just like some of you point out, the media disorts information, which I guess I'm iinfluenced by. I wrote this with a base in my own feelings, and "provokified" it slightly, just to see where both the members of this subreddit, and I stand.
/r/MensRights12/12/12 07:09 PM

Thanks for your reply and the insight, you have some valid points. It's sad how society treats openly emotional men, and that's probably why a lot are reluctant to cry in public f.ex. No, I'm not a troll, although I admit to going in for a a bit provocative regard on it. I sometimes find this subreddit rather..unserious? Just thought I'd see if I got some response. I am willing to give men a chance though, just currently afraid of them? Because of the physical benefits you have I find myself bec…

Thanks I guess? Not sure what you mean by damaged goods, though
/r/MensRights12/12/12 06:56 PM

Several attempted rapes in clubs, unwanted groping and undressing etc. Even though I could ask myself if I dress provocatively, I still don't think it justifies for that kind of behavior.

Yeah, starting to question this study myself. Wish I had any proof or links, but it's so long since I've seen them. The gay point is a great input, never even thought of that. Thanks for the encouring words too, your reply was informative and more serious than many of these here. :)
/r/MensRights12/12/12 06:31 PM

You're putting words in my mouth, I never criticized men, I'm asking men (and oviously also women :) to why. You answered that, thanks!
/r/MensRights12/12/12 06:26 PM

I've had some pretty bad experiences with men, so the not trusting them part is probably true in my case. Working on that, and this thread has made me gain some insight. Thanks, definitely adding it to my cart. Wish I was able to disguise myself into my own Ned

not sure where i found them, read them in local newspapers years ago, and came across references to them here and there. that's all i have to bring to the table, I'm sorry
/r/MensRights12/12/12 06:13 PM

I don't doubt this research of yours at all, and it's probably more than likely to be true, I just don't see where the motivation for presenting men like that comes from What's their reason behind it?
/r/MensRights12/12/12 06:10 PM

IF this survey is true, then I guess the fear of being caught is keeping them away from doing so. A minority of the cases are being solved, but I think the percentage is high enough to keep them off it. Every study I've seen on the topic agrees that married couples have less sex than unmarried couples. Being a couple implies being in a relationship, which I compared to a marriage in this particular post. Have never paid much attention to that as I feel it's wrong to blame the marriage itself for…

Not a troll, just wanting to see what you guys think of this. When I said how I felt about the issue, I clearly stated that I though I'd been brainwashed by feminists, not media. Used to be in a group of friends heavily influenced my feminism.
/r/MensRights12/12/12 05:52 PM

I mean, if the survey was done online, why would they lie?
/r/MensRights12/12/12 05:48 PM

Not sure how the survey was performed, I found it weird too. But since I've seen 4 of them in various papers and sites, I chose to trust them, if just a little bit. Unless you're very good looking, relationships tend to bring more sex, yes.
/r/MensRights12/12/12 05:41 PM

I know that men are supposed to put on a tough face, but that doesn't change how I react or feel when I sit during an heartbreaking and horrible movie about f.ex massmurders or circumcision, and not one single guy even blinks.
/r/MensRights12/12/12 05:38 PM

Thanks for an informative answer. I'm not sure if I feel like media is deliberatly trying to set men up here, i but I see that what I have been fed by the media may mess my common sense up here.
/r/MensRights12/12/12 05:32 PM

then that statistic says that one of them is a rapist I wouldn't interpret eager to rape=rapist, but I get what you mean. Why would most men be rapists? Easy access to sex, no commitment. They are trying to make men look like monsters, perpetrators and insensitive assholes. Not sure where you're getting this from? I see a lot of people on MensRight stating this, but from what context?
/r/MensRights12/12/12 05:27 PM

Thanks for a honest and nice reply. I have experienced what you're mentioning, yes. And I feel reading experiences other girls has gone through "reassures" this view. Never stated that men are rapists though, just that they are willing to do it. I might be willing to go out there and work as a prostitute, but that doesn't make me a prostitute.
/r/MensRights12/12/12 05:19 PM

WBC, KKK and nazis? you're funny. Glad to hear there's no truth in it, though.
