It is complex. Men in general articulate their feelings from a distance (they feel it subtly, like it’s an intuition, and reflect deeper hours later, so it seems cold). But it is their version of vulnerability. Rationally explaining. Women are more the moment WITH the feelings. This is the root of almost all conflict. Men can’t naturally engage raw emotion in real time (seems illogical), and counter it with rationality, and women feel unheard etc. Men that have been hurt, often opened up before …

Unless there is a huge age gap, you’re either dating above your bracket (they just want the sex, friendships and won’t open up as they see no future, are ashamed to be with you as an item and can do better physically, aka situationship). Or they see red flags for commitment. It’s usually the former. Male friend zone to women is situationships. When they act nervous and closed off, it’s again because they are higher level physically and won’t commit. And don’t want to hurt your feelings. If pushe…
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/25 04:42 PM

The whole “they don’t know what they want” is translated to you’re not special. Either they wanted some action with a 5-7 or it’s an 8+ with no personality or isn’t wifey material. Nothing more nothing less. Women will never admit this to their themselves or their friend group’s as it’s so indoctrinated in them to blame the men they can’t get commitment from. Step up your game ladies.

Huge opportunity for disruption. While it wouldn’t gamify the system and please investors, it could in theory delegitimize all other dating apps and make them irrelevant. Only match with your demo, and limit likes per month. And mandatory likes per month. Anything to balance out the sexes. Hell go as far as body scans with AI to determine real height, Facial symmetry, body fat %. Upload W-2’s lmao.

Always a deflection and a DARVO (deny, reverse, victims offender role) with women. You just proved your toxicity.

Narcissism, extreme entitlement (one way street attitude), lack of accountability (that dysregulated face when they misbehave, only to drag it out and deflect until they change the narrative instead of just moving on). It’s the core to a woman’s behavior and it’s disgusting and must change. Can’t unsee it and with social media younger men are learning this super early. It’s unprecedented.

Look at the more attractive profiles on hinge. “I want a man that can make me laugh”. “Must share food”. “Date, place, reservation”. Love language “Sushi”. Pathetic and likely hundreds of simps a day liking this nonsense.

Well said. I will gladly knock it down 1-2 points in the looks department to have an emotionally mature woman in life.

Life is short. Young men have to learn quick if they truly want to be happy. See how women are after the honeymoon phase and understand that it will cost you your potential if you’re unable to be strong enough to set boundaries and perhaps walk away. It can be done the more it’s discussed. Heck I think it is being done as many men give up and mislead women and ghost them. They just want the intimacy and honestly I don’t blame them.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/25 05:22 PM

Absolutely agree. Modern women in general are emotionally broken and society does not acknowledge this in the least. The solution is men need to STOP encouraging this entitlement. Learn to set strong boundaries and not accept any form of psychological abuse. And do not feed extreme narcissism and entitlement. Cut off the supply is the only way to play against toxicity in all forms.

Inflated egos because of it. But guys that are average need to go for average women. And there are plenty out there. Like the same amount of average and below average men. Yet guys swipe like crazy just to get laid. Women think they are hot shit when they are not and the whole thing is out of control.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/25 10:43 AM

You have BPD or something? Think in grey for a moment with some timelines. Aka critical thinking. My statement stands.

Forgiveness, loyalty, growth in good times and bad. The fantasy of someone being there in sickness, in health, for richer or poorer. That is completely done with and as a result men will adapt. It will actually make men more masculine again and find purpose in making an impact on this world. It’s a cycle and we are late stage girl boss era.

Oh no, there will be a dickpocalypse lmao. Women are essentially worthless as the mystery is gone, as it’s just pure manipulation to gain security and control over men. It’s just taking time for others to see it. And women can’t even discuss it’s occurring as they have zero accountability. It it cannot be undone. That combined with the changes in the economy due to technological shifts… it’s every man for themselves. This is unprecedented.

Yes. That is what I’m explaining. We have been conditioned to love unconditionally because that is what has been conditioned and passed down to men. Now gen z and younger has access to information that nobody had before at this scale and clarity. They legit are giving up. What 50% of men are not actively pursuing women? It’s a lie. There are conditions and they see there is nothing to fawn over anymore. It’s a process, so some men are further along than others. Biologically we want to reproduce …

Spot on man. Any man and especially young men in their 20’s and early 30’s. Work on yourself. For you. Unlock nutrition, strength training. Appreciate solitude and learn. Psychology so you can recognize emotional manipulation. Stoicism so you can learn to live in peace and not get frustrated by the majority of dismissive, deflective, gaslighting and outright rude responses here. This is a high value man. No better time to become one.

The best are videos of fat girls rating mens bodies. They have zero concept of putting down the fork and going into a calorie deficit to be an attractive woman with relative ease. While men are balancing macros, weights, cardio to maintain 12-15% body fat. God forbid they hit 20% and be labeled a dad bod lmao. All these selective women will settle for whatever they can get by late 30’s

This “unconditional” love is centuries of (less attractive) men having to get creative to swoon a mate. Films, media have all played its part in reinforcing this. In essence it was necessary to keep society stable. What we are seeing is men giving up. Before it was divorced men, bitter and angry that they fell for the idea of unconditional love. But learned over time that women can’t love the same way (please don’t deflect here and talk about abuse, let’s stay on the prevailing topic). The veil …

I’m post 40’s male and can date 19-38 year olds that are in or out of Ivy League ma’am. Filtering up to 40 is just not necessary for me if I still want children.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/25 11:46 PM

Yes most can’t. It’s quantity over quality likes/swipes. Curious to understand who pays for these apps more. Men or women. It would be in the companies best interest to make it harder for the gender (or person) that pays the most.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/25 10:58 PM

While there are men on the apps, simping, immaturity, algo’s has unfortunately made it a numbers game for most men on apps to get a bite. So those are canned sends in which they are firing a thousand a month etc. Inflating women’s egos thinking they are unique to 100’s of DM’s. Or all men are desperate. I connect with some great women on apps, you know who likes me unsolicited the most? Women that are 3’s, 4’s. Yet I can get 100+ matches on hinge my first month or so. But I too have to hit up qu…

Attractive high value men are picky because they have options throughout life. Average men are either burnt out by women and want peace after realizing their true nature (women are not “mysterious” to men over 40 nowadays, maybe 30’s now). So yeah you’re right. Men are and will become more and more picky. And call out negative qualities in personality and perhaps physicality more in the open. We are equal right? In terms of loneliness it’s a society that is BPD’ing men at scale with a media that…

EQ, Emotional Intelligence. *as always there are exceptions. And quite honestly all genders have taken a turn for the worse post 2020. What I’m seeing is less women express their emotions when in positions of power. For example there was a webinar session for a 4-500 person business unit. Preparing staff for layoffs. 3 of the 5 speakers were women. They sounded like they didn’t care while the men tapped into their antics while the women seemed like they were reading a script. I think it’s becaus…
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/25 09:31 PM

Society puts so much emphasis on beauty and youth is because the drop of is so extreme in women. And what is the purpose of an animal? To procreate. It’s instinctual. I guess we are seeing our true nature play out in real life but it’s incompatible with current society. Top 10% men of the tribe bedding more women. More single women that will be childless as it’s not socially acceptable to have the top men impregnate multiple women. What’s the solution? Do you even see this as a problem? Populati…
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/25 09:11 PM

Agree both genders can be horrible bosses. What I’ve noticed myself in my 3 Fortune 500 tech companies I’ve worked at in the last 10-15 years or so (non engineering) is that women leaders have lost authenticity. They were pioneers in EQ and being authentic but seem to have taken the worst traits of the prototypical masculine male and gone on auto pilot with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/25 08:56 PM

Because women over 40 are invisible.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/25 08:43 PM

From my experience they are not as competent in leadership roles in particular. The women in the past were. Not the ones of today. And that is my strong opinion. More doesn’t mean better.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/25 08:42 PM

How women rate men vs how men rate women. https://www.stevestewartwilliams.com/p/how-men-and-women-rate-each-other Good chunk of this gap in single men vs women is because women are dating the same… man https://www.americansurveycenter.org/research/from-swiping-to-sexting-the-enduring-gender-divide-in-american-dating-and-relationships/ Broadly speaking, men don’t even use moisturizer. I think what you fail to consider is a women’s value as they age. Along with makeup etc. women are designed to be attractive at a young age as they are meant to have children biologically at that age. Focus on the 7-7.5’s and assume we have the same standards. Not fat (but not skinny, lean), smaller breasts, average breasts, no taller than say 5’6”. They will not look nearly as attractive at 33 than teens to 27 let’s say. And sadly no 8-10 male in their mid to late 30’s, perhaps 40’s would want …

Happy wife, happy life right? What you speak is absolutely the truth. Most men are guilty of it. Awareness is increasing by the day and I don’t think there will be anything to stop it.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/25 07:37 PM

Mids need to be with mids. It affects all of us. Say I’m an 8-9 male. I can have an endless supply of 5’s, 6’s and get my needs met every now and then, but I sure as hell won’t settle down with one. And have to play the numbers game with 8-9’s as they are inundated by male 5’s but will drop my roster if one bites. It’s just fucking everything up. If I’m a 5-7 woman. I bed a 8-9 and get dumped and get my ego inflated, hate men that are my level etc. holding out long as I can for the next 8-9 to g…
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/25 07:27 PM

This just leads women to be cat women. Childless, no family. Your parents will die you know. Women that can’t settle will have 40-50 years alone. Men can do this far easier than women. It’s going to be very dark for women in the next few years. And things will naturally change. Just not this very second. If I was god I’d make women fertile, slower rates of collagen depletion into their 50’s, but I’m not.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/25 07:09 PM

Women do objectively need to lower their standards as a whole. It’s well documented. This is why we are seeing women in their late 30’s frantically trying to settle. Ir coping with cats and thinking they’re Bi all of a sudden. It’s really disrupting society as there is such a short window for women. 5’s need to be with 5’s, 8’s with 8’s etc. one must calculate the risk of not having the man or family they want sooner than they think.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/25 07:05 PM

It’s about power. Women have more power now and we are in transition. So why we see the high standards for men, as they are utilities, accessories themselves. Was not the case decades ago. You’ll see more young male prostitution to fill the need for older women etc in the future. We know what trends will occur. The conversation needs to be about awareness that this dynamic shift is occurring, or better yet coming to balance. Move past that and discuss openly and freely on what men and woman actu…
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/25 06:57 PM

While I don’t agree with this method. I can see that if this view was enforced again by society. We wouldn’t have any of these “problems”.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/25 06:49 PM

Maybe post 60, but there will be plenty of lonely cat women who are desperate post 40’s. Where they objectively fall off a cliff compared to men.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/25 06:47 PM

Are they really? Corporate world from my experience. 10-15 years ago, women in leadership initiatives, “Girls Rock”, to Future is female. Vast majority of recruiters are female. There are quotas. Now we have young generations of men that are being discriminated against in the open. It’s not pre 2010 anymore. Nothing to be proud of in today’s age.

Men are incredibly simple. And that’s not an insult. We don’t play games but the more we explain the worse off the relationship becomes. Because as you said they simply can’t listen since criticism or logic that goes against their view/security emotionally dysregulated them (aka, women are more emotional). Same for a man if he were to be dysregulated… nobody can physically listen and is in fight or flight mode where info just goes in one ear out the other as you prepare your counter argument. Ju…

Why can’t you for a moment understand what women are actually doing in this subreddit? You’re doing the exact same thing by minimizing and saying we all do this to dismiss the dialogue and experience. Perpetuating this endless nonsense because, yes women and confused men are proving to be incapable to reflect on these statements in any way shape or form.

100%. To add, women will justify the abandonment of a partner when they fall short of these expectations. By saying they are lazy, not man enough, abusive etc. All while they erode the man in their life over time based on standards they keep comparing against around them. Test them, stonewall, get emotional and claim they aren’t listening but not communicate what they actually want. Men then lose it as they tend to not understand this nature and the coldness is coming from you’re not enough. The…

Typical dismissal, deflection and gaslighting to top it off. He is speaking in generalities that are very much real. It’s been conditioned in the genders. Most women will leave a man in sickness, in poorer, in bad times as opposed to a man doing that to a women. Men are loyal, women are opportunistic in nature when it comes to marriage. Any diversion is a matter of circumstances, not the norm or base level instincts. It’s for safety as women couldn’t support themselves in the past. So they need …

Women are designed for a relatively short shelf life. That and makeup, and male sex drive, it will be pretty difficult in the younger demographics. Focus on not accepting the DARVO responses in women. Basically cut off their supply. That is the behavior that leads to delusion and so much strife. It’s so easy to spot and the only response is to not play along with their crafted narratives.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/25 06:16 PM

Typical female response of dismiss, deflect, gaslight. Address the OP’s post. It’s a very real thing. As a 6’3” objectively good looking guy. I can easily field an NFL sized roster in a couple weeks of true 5’s -7’s thinking they are 8’s-9’s and in some cases 10’s. Moving towards women in my league and I suggest all parties start doing the same.

You’re reframing valid emotional expression as entitlement, using moral superiority and mockery to dismiss what men share. This is minimization (ironically) — and the tone policing, strawman arguments, and gaslighting just prove the exact point I made. Do you have self awareness?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/25 12:36 AM

OP you will receive zero empathy or discussion around your statement from women. Deflection, minimization, gaslighting in each reply is all you’ll get. Just look at this subreddit. Why do men even bother having this discussion?

Minimization, deflection, gaslighting bot: This response uses minimization by reducing the complexity of the man’s experience to a simple issue of “trying to use for sex,” dismissing the deeper emotional concerns raised. It also deflects the conversation away from the original point of effort and reciprocity in dating, instead shifting focus to what women are looking for. There’s an element of gaslighting, implying that the man’s view on love is insincere or that men only say they want love but …

Minimization, deflection, gaslighting bot: This response uses deflection by shifting the topic from men’s emotional experiences in dating to a job interview analogy, which avoids addressing the original point. It also uses minimization, implying that the man’s feelings about unequal effort are overly simplistic or unreasonable. There’s a hint of gaslighting, questioning the man’s measurement of effort and suggesting that his perspective is flawed or narrow by focusing only on results. Additional…

Minimization, deflection.. bot This response uses deflection by shifting the focus from the man’s concerns to a generalization about men blaming women for everything. It also employs dismissiveness, as it assumes the man’s perspective is wrong without engaging with his feelings or the issue he raised. There’s an element of minimization, too, by reducing the conversation to a simple complaint rather than acknowledging the complexity of the emotional experience being discussed.

Take a man’s post on this subreddit and a woman’s response and you get the same thing… deflection, minimization, gaslighting. like clockwork. Need a bit for this. Your comment uses minimization by calling men’s pain “complaining,” which makes it seem small or silly. It’s also deflection, because instead of responding to the real issue—men feeling unloved and used—you turn it into a joke about whether they’ve really “given up.” There’s a hint of gaslighting too, making men question if their feeli…
