Except that the eggs aren’t fertilized. It takes two to have a child and if both parties were to have been responsible before having sex they wouldn’t need abortion. Fertilisation is not even close to the start of life. Near 50% of first trimester pregnancies, where most abortions occur, are not viable. You could say that about eggs or sperm in the same way as cells. Forcing people to term, which is unethical for so many reasons, based on the possibility it may become is barbaric.

I don't think you have to be. Isn't there a pretty clear difference between using a homophobic term, and explicitly stating you would be ashamed if your son was homosexual?
