I would bet a judge in California could easily rule your 'not legal' marriage is ACTAULLY legal in a divorce case years from now. Here is why: Laws change so do interpretations. If you wife in the divorce claims "I thought it was a legal marriage" then the judge (who is likely to be liberal in liberal CA) can rule 'its a real marriage'. She only needs to bring wedding photos and maybe the precher will testify he married you. IF YOU DONT WANT KIDS WHY WHY WHY GET MARRIED, EVEN FOR PRETEND? There …

Amish culture is still tradional. So are Mormons. These people deal with feminism/divorce lottery by excommuncating anyone who wants a divorce so its likely they have really low rates of alimony. I suppose if you like working with your hands and farming/horses the Amish life might be nice if you want to raise your kids 'the old way'.

Yeah its scary how it happens with no warning. Like the 'dear collegue' letter college rape witch hunts from title 9 (i never would have predicted that one!).

Thats outrageous. I'm in California - and I live with my gf - but I made damed sure I understood the laws about this before I asked her to move in. California has no common law marriage, regardless of duration of shacking up. So my friend got married a few years ago, when I merely shacked up with my GF. Oddly, he married a canadian who was using him for US citizenship (red flag!). He was dumb enough to not get a prenup. Now they are divorcing and she is suing for alimony and half of assets. Men …

It seems like some guy could make a bit of cash by wearing a skirt to bars and fliming the women who harrass him - he could sue the women for sexual harrassment. I bet 10 woman a night would lift your kilt if you were a good looking guy. How are the starving ambulance chasing attornies not doing this already?

Not only is the word Prince male supremacism, its also classist. They should change it to 'Pauperton University'.

As a fellow programmer, I also tend to be very logical about relationships - but they are NOT logical at all, its biology and we are programmed to reproduce, and not much else. You should check out the alternative people at fetlife - that should waste a huge amount of time. Mostly they are older and scary as hell to look at..... but at your age you can make fast friends....

Instead of this option, I would buy gold and a really really expensive classic car then drive it and the car into canada and get a new name/identity. Sell off car and gold. WIN.

That sub is awful. I wish I never visited it even once. Ive seen crazy and odd things one woman was convinced she was raped because a guy she hooked up with lied about being married. Another woman was sharing how 'funny' it is when she leans back in a chair and farts and the fart comes up out the vag tickling her. 50 women chimed in how it happens to them too. HOLY SHIT THATS IN MY HEAD FOREVER, HALP! Gross.

The solution is for men to piss with seat down and not care if you miss. If we all did this for a year, they would beg us to leave the seats up. Actually its a lame issue compared to others like the alimony racket.... I once actually fell in the toilet late at night in the dark and HOLY CRAP it a shocking way to come fully awake. so funny.

Unless you are on a VPN and ALSO using something like TOR (which has been compromised) then anything you post here is directly tied to your IP address. Maybe if you always connect via starbucks wifi you can get away with anonymous posting - maybe. (mac address of that device is logged though, so if they get your device they can tie the posts to it and you). I dont see anything wrong you posted here, but keep in mind all online activity is permanently attached to you, and any law enforcement can …

Men are hard wired to do this. Takes some time to learn how the world works. The whole fantasy that a guy can 'save' a damsel in distress, then she falls for him, is from fiction. I have NEVER seen it happen. These 'damsels in distress' are just manipulative whores.

Ive learned over the years, when someone gets an ass kicking, most of time they did something wrong to ask for it.

They also learn the power of the false accusation at a young age. Men cant get away with it nearly as easily. My sister was FIVE years old when she started to extort me and my brother (with silly demands, like let me watch my tv show) by making false accusations that 'he hit me' - she would cry on queue, and be completely convincing. She could make my mom smack me anytime she wanted to. Same thing happens in school. Sometimes, we did hit her - so it was a lot fighting, as is normal I guess.

Yeah they sometimes would do it to steal land. Africa still has a huge problem with witch doctors, actual sick people go to them to cure cancer and what not - that type of thing is what the witch burning was done to prevent. BURN BURN BURN.

To be fair, witches are really just con artist charlatans. Charging money for worthless spells, tricking people into thinking they are cursed, then maybe demanding money. (think gypsy mind reader, these people are all crooks! palm reading and speaking to the dead is false!) So burning witches, was really just a form of protection against FRAUD. Modern examples of fraud are everywhere and are also punished, sometimes harshly.

ok that a huge military town, so I guess it would make sense there is a 'woman shortage' there. Its a huge state. Norcal is basically like Oregon once you pass the bay area.

I live in L.A. , I'm also in software. There are TONS of jobs here due to so many corporate headquarters. Google 'silicon beach' - the santa monica area has lots of start ups, cloud companies, mobile companies. Still there are far more software jobs up in the Bay Area. However, rents are probably at least $1000 a month cheaper in LA vs Bay Area. But salaries are lower by maybe the same amount. You should be able to make 80-120k here in los angeles as an experienced developer. I dont believe the …

HAHA this is going to target non white men almost exclusively. In case you dont know it - thats who is doing most all cat calling nowadays (its a culture thing). So how is this policy not racist??? Are we back to putting a black guy in jail for flirting (cat calling) a white woman? (I guess so!)

Los Angeles had an ad campaign in 2007/08 where they had all the garbage trucks with ads saying DONT THROW YOUR BABY IN THE TRASH (also in spanish). Its a real issue here. The ads were creepy. Thats when I knew I lived in the 3rd world....

I think this almost happened to me, 20 years ago. GF at the time was 'on the pill' but then missed a period. I was freaked out. She already had a kid from some other guy. Turned out she her monthly was just late, thank god. So I dumped her and lived happily ever after. Sometimes guys get lucky too.

Its not as much as proving and winning in court as it is about the out of court settlement to 'drop the false charges' as it were. So imagine a guy like Elon Musk, or any guy who is rich and well known. They could have 20 years worth of ex girlfriends/liars coming at them for a 1m settlement. Its a shakedown allowing 20 years.

Women have frightening powers of manipulation, like vampires, except even more powerful, as they can use the whole government system against you, even your own children. At least if a vampire is after you, the other villagers can help. If a woman is after you the whole village comes after you, you become the hunted monster. Don't marry vampires.

Yeah you got victimized by the divorce, that sucks man. What a huge club you are in though. About half the 40+ guys I ever knew got 'screwed in a divorce' so I gotta vasectomy and decided no marriage, ever. I think there should be a movement for all men who turn 18 to get a vasectomy upon thier 18th bday. This can realistically only become huge when they are near 100% reversible (its like 50% now). Or possibly an easy male contraceptive. BUT most men actually plan to have kids, so not much to be…
