Yeah I mean I was so shocked that he said that, I just kinda responded with something along the lines of "Oh...okay". I can't even really remember what I said.
I talked to a guy 2 weeks ago about a job in the STEM field, I have a degree in Biochemistry. I have a unisex name, and when I picked up the phone he said "Oh man, I was really hoping you were a girl". Oh and by the way, I didn't end up getting the job.
