I'm saying it's taken to an extreme. The kids who didn't get spanked at home sure got tune-ups at school, because they were usually insufferable know-it-all pricks who always got their way.

I've seen it, and i think it goes a bit far. Also, there's a pop on the rear and then there's the savage beating described above. People can't moderate themselves when moderating others for shit these days.

I see #3 and #4 a lot. An aggressive man, in her mind, is more likely to aggressively protect and provide for his mate, and she feels like she can make him that kind of person.
