2	This might be cherry picking, but I had to point out this double standard. When you put yourself directly in the public eye, on national television, how you act is a reflection on everything you're involved in. If you act like an asshole in front of your girlfriend in public she'll be embarrassed, because your actions reflect on her. Same for a company. You don't represent your company all hours of the day. 10	This might be cherry picking, but I had to point out this double standard. Employees don't have to be drones 24/7. If you're at the club like any other average Joe no one cares. However, we're talking national TV, here. Not the time or the place. People should be professional in the public eye. I don't blame the company for firing him for being a jackass on live TV. 2	This might be cherry picking, but I had to point out this double standard. I'm not sure this is the best example. I'm not trying to particularly defend one side here, but that talk show is supposed to be humorous and light hearted. Being immature on local or national TV is just inappropriate unprofessional to me anyway. If a woman did a similar thing on TV I think I would feel the same. If someone is being extremely discriminative toward a white person solely because they are white and no other reason, is that considered racism? Various dictionary definitions seems to agree, yet many people do not and want to base it on privilege. I mean, the word literally means discrimination that generalizes and attacks a group of people... Doesn't say anything about oppression. And that I also don't want to be lumped together with women who committed the rape.
