when i had covid, my best friend brought me a basket with soup, fruit, and snacks, and left it at my front door. thats when i realized how valuable female frienship is, i dont know any man who would do that unprompted. it was so thoughtful

never taking birth control again, i experienced the most severe depression and mood swings. I've been off it for almost a year and my mood is stable, I rarely cry and it's very easy to regulate my emotions. I was suicidal at one point ffs

Imagine trusting a man so much that you'd blindly rely on him. Listen to your mothers, grandmothers, and aunts before you, HAVE YOUR OWN MONEY! Second wave feminist figured this shit out already.

i heard a scrote say that he went to a brothel once and there was a prostitute that looked to be about 14 yrs old. all the men in the brothel wanted her. anytime i have a pickme urge to center a man's feelings or overextend myself in anyway for a guy, i think about that story and my empathy goes away.

I've noticed this phenomenon as well with male friendship groups. I speak to my female friends more often now than pre-covid bc we have to take care of each other during these times while I've seen guys flat out ghost their longterm friends. I've also noticed that women who are more "male identified" (pickmes) have also been bad at maintaining friendship but expect to be responded to after being MIA for months.

they are jealous that women on average are better at making and maintaining meaningful friendships, but rather than taking control of their own lives and deepening their emotional bonds w their friends, they blame us. the thing that bonds men is shitting on us. the thing that bonds us, is love and community. i love my girl friends, my mother and my sister i depend on those relationships, they nourish me. men, level up!

in the recent pod episode, lundy mentioned how often when you are abused, you unfortunately try really hard to win your abuser's approval. it's a psychological side affect of trauma. for myself I've realized that even though i left my abusive relationship i was recreating this dynamic of trying to win men's affection/approval through sex because i hadn't healed from my trauma. i engaged in casual sex that left me feeling hollow and broken after the relationship ended. i think this is why a lot o…

no and i wish this question would stop being asked in the group. gay dating is hard, lower numbers, lower chances. women are not perfect, they offer a lot, but it is not paradise out here. Its really lonely tbh because at least with men you can find them literally anywhere

i was just thinking about this the other day and you put it into words so perfectly. Women need to stop showing their cards to men, not just about their own personal information and trauma, but if you catch him on some shit, don't confront. The most powerful position to be in is when you know something and he doesn't know you know.

I am so thankful that she said this because it rings so true to my experience. I also started consuming porn when I was 11 and I am still deeply fucked up by it. I watched so much porn in middle and high school, for a certain period of time it was almost daily consumption. It completely distorted my sexual boundaries. I've realized now at 24 that my sexual fantasies weren't even my own intrinsic desires, they were implanted into my head by the porn industry. I still sometimes feel that my sexual…

Not only that but sex work is the only profession where it is ok to discriminate against someone because of their race. White sex workers will always make more money than black and brown sex workers. The racial hierarchy is in full force in the sex industry and racial fetishes are rampant (just like misogyny). Like, how do libfems get away with pushing the narrative that this is "empowering" when it is often a last resort for economically downtrodden women.

the only notes women should take from men is to be as ruthless and discerning in what you want and getting as much as you can from a relationship. also LEAVING as soon as it is inconvenient or burdensome to you. we do not play bob the builder over here.

She probably has more genuinely loving relationships with her kids, extended family, and friends because she has taken the time to nurture these relationships. I don't think women have to be hyper career oriented women if they don't want to be. She was smart to still have some money of her own coming because this resentful asshole clearly doesn't value her. I hope she's doing well.

I'm in my mid 20s and people are just starting to get married. At first I felt disappointed in myself that I spent my early 20s dating and entertaining LVM. I thought my friends in relationships might be better than me for staying in long term relationships rather than enduring heartbreak after heartbreak. I realize that I've developed emotional callouses which do make you stronger. Through these disappointments i know what i truly want and what i don't want and I've learned so much about myself…

Ok hear me out, as a bi woman I truly believe women like this who leer and objectify women, could never have actual love and intimacy with another woman because they try to desire women the way men desire women. They are diminishing women's humanity in order to be a "cool girl", how then could you ever truly love a woman.

My first bf when i was 18 was a hoarder. His room was filled to the ceiling w shit and I flat out refused to have sex with him. My mom was very strict and didn't allow boys over so him coming over mine was out of the question. I told him that hanging out in his living room or in his car wasn't gonna cut it and if he wanted to spend time alone with me, he needed to live like an actual human being and clean up his shit. Long story short, he cleaned his room, got a new bed, brand new bedding, and h…

Unicorn hunters are soo gross, they literally prey on queer women. They'll put only her name and picture on a dating profile and then ambush you with the small detail that she has bf. I only meet women irl now. Women who want to make other women a fucktoy for her shitty man are vile imo.

i worked with him for 2 yrs, i just highlighted one instance there were other moments. men aren't as black and white as you think, they are capable of being nice and kind they just CHOOSE not to be, thats my point. also my attractiveness actually doesnt matter in this situation because this was a guy who shoots his shot with everyone regardless of what they looked like, and the fact that he didnt with me was telling .

I truly believe that whether you're child free or not, it is our responsibility as women to protect children. The fact is men do not protect us or kids and men are responsible for much of the violence against all of us. As the adults, we have to advocate for the kids because they are not fully developed and therefore incapable. Any woman who allows abuse to occur towards a child or in their presence does become NV.

I think it's the insecurity that a woman is happy with her life without a man. A woman who has surrounded herself with her pets, friends, family, and hobbies is not someone who can be manipulated easily.

I'm Mexican American, first generation and at this point I'm kind of done with Latino men. They're just too toxic, between the alcoholism, having multiple children with other women, physical violence, etc it's too much. Are other types of men just as shitty, probably, but I feel like minority men often treat women of their own group even worse.
