... bodgeing? not sure. bodge (plural bodges) A clumsy or inelegant job, usually a temporary repair; a patch, a repair.

Getting murdered does not equal to politically/racially motivated mass shootings. By the numbers white folks are the ones committing the most terror acts (from both left and right), though I don't think it's because of what the left says. Fact is that there IS a problem to be addressed there, but no one moving because of this "no need to care for the privileged" mentality.

That's hormones, and goes away with age. You'll always feel that little thing poking in your brain, but around mid-30's, all these "hotties" become regular people that just happen to look pretty.

It's a bad solution to an actual problem. Street harassment exists, and if women feel actual danger walking through empty parking lots.... then that's an issue that needs to be solved. But if your solution is to shelter women, instead of addressing the harassers, then you're just bodging something to keep face.

And are you sure that men being portrayed as sexual objects leads into that? Or maybe it's an issue of power. As guards are in full control of inmates, and pimps of kids. Where is the actual connection between the idea, and the act?

What I see it's an issue with lack of self esteem. It's different when people act towards you in a toxic way, than letting the idea affect you personally. That why I don't think this is a gender issue, nor one that pushes any kind of equality.

And? Seriously, what are the real-life consequences of us being portrayed as sexual objects?

And? What are the real-life consequences of us being objectified?

She takes what she wants without complaining about others not giving her permission, so no.

This is not even an issue for us. Talk about suicides, depression, school under-performance, severe lack of mobility in gender roles, etc... but being sexualised or objectified?... who gives a fuck?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
