I am going through a very similar thing right now-- together 8 years total, married for 3. I feel like I'm grieving the loss of something I haven't lost yet. Feeling very lost, hollowed-out, and unable to exactly process my emotions. I haven't talked to any friends or family about it yet, so I've been going it alone for now. I assume that the fear, shame of having failed, etc. are normal. Anyway, I suppose it's nice to know I'm not alone in feeling the way I do.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
