Is something sexist when it is perceived as sexist or because it is meant as sexist. It’s a costume party it would be completely appropriate. If you can explain how it’s racist go ahead. Also racism is 100% intent? If a white guy Kills a black guy because the dude slept with his wife vs killed him cos he is black that’s an extreme example of a racist murderer vs a murderer | /r/MensRights | 15/06/19 11:07 PM
Is something sexist when it is perceived as sexist or because it is meant as sexist. No it’s not. How about you explain your argument | /r/MensRights | 14/06/19 02:10 AM
Is something sexist when it is perceived as sexist or because it is meant as sexist. That’s only racist because of a specific slur. I would say it’s a grey area, but being racist/sexist is harmful when intended to degrade or attack a group. I like using the costume party example, where If I was invited to a consutne party and I’m white, yet I choose to dress as prince, it’s not racist as I am not intending to make fun of the race, much like how RDJ in tropic thunder isn’t racist. | /r/MensRights | 05/06/19 01:25 PM

How is this fair or even legal?wOmEn dO yOGa mOre sO It sHoULd CosT tHem DouBLE This is stupidest thing I've read on this sub in a couple hours. The pricing is unfair. | 3 | I love this sub, avid MRA, but I feel we should be doing more?I’m a bit fearful of joining the MRA because it’s highly taboo, especially as I’m going into uni (our Unis are extremely left wing, so much that recently the govt. ordered an audit on all Aus unis due to reports of suppression of speech). The cheaper housing is annoying, because basically (its probs same in America idk) you pay for Uni, which is the education and then if you’re boarding you pay for a college, which is accomodation. 1 uni could have 2-20 or whatever different colleges, which all … | /r/MensRights | 11/01/19 10:00 PM |

I love this sub, avid MRA, but I feel we should be doing more?Fair enough, I do believe in the idea that communities can do what they want, but I feel that they should censor stuff like r/feminism if they are quarantining r/TheRedPill and stuff like that. | 1 | With TheRedPill on the way out, we should prepare aswell...Ok so as much as I love this idea I think banning women would foster sooo much hate and if they wanted to get around it they could. | 16 | With TheRedPill on the way out, we should prepare aswell...Then you understand why we are scared. If one is banned and the other is not, it proves reddit is trying to force us to conform to set ideologies, and eventually everything that provides alternate Perspectives and free speech will be oppressed and removed | /r/MensRights | 28/09/18 01:38 PM
With TheRedPill on the way out, we should prepare aswell...As much as I agree with this, it’s 100% true, it doesn’t matter because we will most likely be taken down regardless. If reddit was truly fair r/againstmensrights wouldn’t exist because they are hate groups, but they do. This proves reddit has a ideology we need to conform to, and I don’t want to have to be scared of being unfairly punished every day. | 13 | With TheRedPill on the way out, we should prepare aswell...I’d be worried about using reddit software as it’s not technically open source so they might try copyright you or take it down. If your a programmer I would love an alternate perspective on our site, it’s a shell right now, and I don’t want you to do any programming of course I’m not trying to trick you into free work (unless you want to). I’ll pm you later about it with a temporary link if you’d be willing | /r/MensRights | 28/09/18 12:14 PM
With TheRedPill on the way out, we should prepare aswell...That’s good, I’m glad we are already planning other sites. | 1 | Anyone think that political correctness in films has gone too farWell I’ll jump in and say I would fire someone if they did a false harassment claim on me. If they felt harassed the first stop should be the perpetrator, so me. That way they can alert me to my actions because it might just be a mistake/misunderstanding: from there they can escalate. The problem these days is a lot of women jump the gun and don’t do anything except for file a claim, what this shows is that they care a lot more about ruining the persons life and showing he is a sexual harasser r… | /r/MensRights | 25/09/18 08:55 PM

Anyone think that political correctness in films has gone too farIs my post, what’s your point? I’m not painting it out to be simple, I’m painting it out how it is. I don’t want to waste time explain the whole economics behind films, but the basic fact is Trend expressed by society > writers/producers include trend > society pays more money to see a show representing them Problem is when one group makes a disproportionate amount of noise and this is where SJW films have come along | /r/MensRights | 25/09/18 02:47 PM

Anyone think that political correctness in films has gone too farWhen I say predominant I don’t just mean they are more in the film, I mean films where they are the stronger characters, even in war films or romantic films these days it’s insisted that the females be the strongest of the strong, and when a movie falls of that bandwagon, it gets humiliated. An example is the kissing booth, because it showed two teens in love, he likes her and touches her butt no consent, afterwards they become a couple. How would you feel about this in your own country? • r/AskRedditI have to admit, I am indecisive over which side is right , but what I would argue isn’t right is arguing that his belief means he isn’t an MRA. | 2 | xPost: Iceland has recently proposed a ban on circumcision. Your argument is perfectly valid, however so is the argument that it should be the Persons choice | /r/MensRights | 24/09/18 10:37 PM
So... there is an anti-men’s right sub??I literally don’t know how you see this. You are taking the few bad seeds from the groups and saying THIS IS ALL OF MRA . Using your logic, I’ve seen posts on r/feminism saying they should kill every third man for what men have done to us in history, that MUST BE WHAT FEMINISM STANDS FOR, killing all men! | /r/MensRights | 24/09/18 09:43 PM

So... there is an anti-men’s right sub??Ok one that’s a YouTube video comment from what I can see and number two MRA groups don’t spend time doing that. LOOK AROUND THE GROUP, you will notice we care a lot more about making sure false rape claims are punished and men get hired fairly rather than “top ten tips n tricks to abuse your women tonight” | /r/MensRights | 24/09/18 09:13 PM
Anyone think that political correctness in films has gone too farHey if it works it works, my problem is the vast majority of cases where is obviously doesn’t. Star Wars is my favourite example. In the case of doctor who my problem with it is the statement they are making is obviously because of the current push for female protagonists and this will get them more views. It would’ve been cooler if they chose to have a female protagonist because they thought that would be good, because society wants it | /r/MensRights | 24/09/18 09:10 PM
So... there is an anti-men’s right sub??The anti feminist subs that are easy to find get taken down regularly but yeah, I’m glad they call us out on bs, doesn’t matter who your with less of that is good | /r/MensRights | 24/09/18 09:06 PM

Anyone think that political correctness in films has gone too farCars 3 is a good example then. And as soon as they took marvel you’ll notice the entire franchise spiralling towards the whole captain marvel women save the day, it happens in every movie. You’ll notice that the guys now are weak and have weaknesses, but the women are strong and are better e.g science lady in black panther, Valkyrie in Thor, black widow in avengers, pepper Potts in the more recent iron mans. Or look at Star Wars, where they are so rudely cramming it down their audiences throats,… | /r/MensRights | 24/09/18 06:19 PM

So... there is an anti-men’s right sub??Yes a bit, I found that the equal vote for women was actually pushed for by men predominantly and the majority of Women didn’t want it at the time, furthermore they refused to take on the responsibility of civil service that at the time was tied in with the vote Also I’m genuine I just felt saying “oh really tell me how” without context would make me sound like I’m being condescending | /r/MensRights | 24/09/18 04:21 PM
Anyone think that political correctness in films has gone too farThis is what I’m talking about, that is 1 film that’s shows how his touching leads to a happy ending, but this does happen in real life. For that 1 film there are 10 where a guy doesn’t do that, and there are films where women do it. So what’s the problem when it’s shown in a film? Your right men are overwhelmingly the protagonists in films, but if you exclude that that go films post 2013 and put it in western countries, you will find that there is much more female participation. | 1 | Anyone think that political correctness in films has gone too farThe WW1/WW2 thing is an aim at recent battlefield/COD games, An example of a rom com getting backlash is “the kissing booth” it’s being slammed for being misogynistic, just type in kissing booth sexism or even Netflix rom com sexist. Most rom coms these days if not all center around females being empowered, to all the boys I’ve loved before, the feels, princess syd, never happily ever after just to name a few. Currently if you tally every Disney film from the last 5 years the results are Brave- … | /r/MensRights | 24/09/18 03:28 PM

So... there is an anti-men’s right sub??Awesome this sub honestly has made me so much happier over the last few days. I’m in hospital so I don’t have much to do other than reddit, and I love in a very pro feminist area and recently I’ve been getting backlash in my eco class because I’ve been arguing that the gender pay gap is exaggerated. It depressed me (don’t have depression I’m just saying I got sad) for a bit combined with the hospital but this sub honestly makes me so happy I can connect with people who believe the same stuff as … | /r/MensRights | 24/09/18 02:52 PM

So... there is an anti-men’s right sub??I would disagree, if you go back to 1930s you’ll find feminism was about equality, with voting and stuff, however as soon as it turned to violent riots it went bad, furthermore the fact they did not take on that other civil duties eg fire service/ enrollement along with voting was a bit of a fail | /r/MensRights | 24/09/18 02:14 PM

Anyone think that political correctness in films has gone too farI agree they are doing it, I’m saying diversity shouldn’t be that, currently the world is going around it the wrong way. I should’ve prefaced that . Currently “diversity” is basically saying screw you to white men. A great example is Hamilton, I loved that soundtrack, then o realised it was an all black cast portraying Washington and Jefferson and that made me sick. | /r/MensRights | 24/09/18 01:27 PM
So... there is an anti-men’s right sub??Sometimes it scares me. A couple months ago I was legitimately so demotivated and disappointed because my schooling environment is extremely SJW, for example in an economics class we were learning about the gender pay gap and they were showing the good old 70c on the dollar thing. So I called it it out, and a classmate instantly calls me sexist. So when I found this sub it honestly increased my general well-being, because I never realised there was a forum for this type thing and it makes me so … | /r/MensRights | 24/09/18 01:24 PM

New Apple Watch will empower women’s health so says health article which ignores that men die at a far greater rate.I still don’t see how this article as applicable to women. This article is the equivalent of saying “google makes people respond more to their doctors as they are able to save time by tell the doctor the exact symptoms”. I’m so confused how this empowers women. If I was wrong let’s say that this article is right and the Apple Watch does help women get diagnosed faster etc. how is that empowering? | 1 | xPost: Iceland has recently proposed a ban on circumcision. How would you feel about this in your own country? • r/AskRedditDid some reading, I’ve decided that it should be ok once the child has turned 12. The reason for this number is he has not reached adulthood yet, but legally he is old enough to make a decision like that (at least in Australia). I do not however believe it’s an extremely important issue however because I would rather fix the growing problem of hiring inequality before this. Is circumcising an issue? Never heard of it before now as a problem | /r/MensRights | 24/09/18 12:16 PM
xPost: Iceland has recently proposed a ban on circumcision. How would you feel about this in your own country? • r/AskRedditOk, what if the child grows to 16 and then chooses circumcision, is that ok? | /r/MensRights | 24/09/18 12:12 PM

“That’s a chance I’M willing to take (of letting innocent men be thrown in prison”The statistic at least in aus is about 1:2 for baseless accusations. Here in aus the word rape isn’t actually in the law, you should check American law becuase I don’t know, so the most you can get charged for is sexual assault, but that’s still the same as rape pretty much as its unconcensual penetration of the body, there is a push to change the law because technically that means men can’t be assaulted, but most judges are lenient on that by nature. | /r/MensRights | 24/09/18 11:56 AM

“That’s a chance I’M willing to take (of letting innocent men be thrown in prison”But this is such a joke. What she should say is there are so few false rape TRIALS. There are thousands of false rape accusations, but police and lawyers aren’t idiots. Most of it is resolved before it sees a courtroom | /r/MensRights | 24/09/18 07:11 AM
