I understand the frustration from the part of men here but I think she (the interviewer), r/feminism and many over at r/mensrights take this argument as a “us vs. them” analysts. The part that resonates the most with me is that equality isn’t a men vs. women struggle, equality is a human struggle. It’s arguments like these that Dr. Peterson are proposing that makes me feel much more in common with women than opposed. I personally feel historical context plays a big role into this idea. Individual liberty and freedom of speech are historically new ideas. The concept that you can not only speak about against an authority figure but do so without being killed or thrown in prison is extremely new in the scope of human history. I’ve always been angered by hypocrisy. Whether it was social, political. There was always something so frustrating to me about not being able to look at the other side with empathy or understanding. I grew up thinking that gender equality was black and white. That there was a clear right and wrong. As time progressed I noticed that the shift seemed to go from empowering women to alienating and persecuting men. I was 20 and hurt. I turned to the only places that offered a countering viewpoint. Pl…

Assuming that any female influence is toxic? Please clarify because how I interpret this comment is 1. Women are mothers, mothers are feminine, mothers raise men, men are raised incorrectly, issues with men caused by women Most teachers are women, women are feminine, women teach men, men are taught incorrectly, issues with men are caused by teachers How I interpreted OPs comment was The narrative in America today that men are raised with toxic masculinity is simply false. Men are not raised with…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
