I know so many who had to do this for their siblings. It's really not fair but I do hope it at least means you get along well with your brothers.

That's crazy, I'm sorry. Parents shouldn't put raising kids on their children.

Ah, somebody should have told me this before I moved out.

Worked for a family who raised their kids like this, was blown away by how much children can do you give them a chance. Loved it. Everyone needs to be taught how to take care of themselves, how they decide to run their life longterm is up to them, but I definitely loved how helpful those kids were.

I don't know a lot of people who have a maid, maybe you're running in other circles haha but most people I've met in various western countries know how to cook and clean in their 20s. Whether they do it is another question. I only noticed a difference in people who freshly moved out. The video games are just a common example. It works with any other "toy". Just think of the saying "boys never grow up, their toys just get more expensive". Like don't get me wrong, I think everyone should be able t…

I'd say it's because girls are often expected to take care of their younger siblings or participate more in the household than most boys (obviously, there are exceptions). Even toys targeted at girls often include chores and such. By the time the move out they can basically take care themselves while a lot of men only start learning then, that's just been my personal experience of living with 20+ different roommates. Also women are expected to think about children, families and their future a lo…

You're partially right, that mindset does exist. But things are different if the girl making the introduction is in a relationship already, so nobody would question why she is not interested in the guy. So depending on the circumstances this could still work. Also, it's probably true that not a lot of people want to set up their friends directly but the chances are high that you will meet quite a few friends of friends on parties, birthdays or just when you run into them on the street. None of m…

Doesn't even have to be seen as a slut, but many will just think the woman is desperate if she has to resort to approaching instead of getting men to approach her. Either way, if you approach first as a woman you do risk to be judged netgatively by others.

Yes. Personally I don't really notice smell that much, but for all my friends it's one of the first things they notice and comment on, so i definitely would recommend a good cologne to any guy. Also, while I don't really smell it while talking to a guy, on the instances that I do get a whiff of a nice smelling cologne it definitely makes a good in impression on me and can influence attraction.

My friend groups consist mostly of girls, so most things we do are “girls night out”, we just don’t call it that, it’s just going out with friends. So naturally we do a lot more things than just bars or night clubs. Museums, bowling, traveling, hiking, lectures, debates, movies, whatever we feel like. Sometimes partners tag along but if it’s just the friend group it’ll be just women. Now if we do happen to have a “girls night out” this usually does happen at a bar or restaurant because it’s abou…

Absolutely, whenever I go to someone’s house I bring something, usually wine but chips or any snack will do. It’s just good manners, when they visit they’ll bring something. Doesn’t matter if I’m going to a friends or a date.

I admire everybody who actually does things to fix problems, but at the same time this sounds like these two options are mutually exclusive. I don’t want someone who feels like they have to fix the world, but if you don’t care about anything in this world aside from your own happiness that just sounds horrible. You don’t have to care about every issue in the world but I think everyone should have something that their passionate about and try to improve that aspect of the world a little. So while…

I don’t have a lot of dating experience but as a woman, I wouldn’t know why these tips wouldn’t work the same for women. It’s basically just tips how to have a conversations and a fun experience with someone you don’t know that well. Seems like good tips for anybody!

How exactly do women profit more off of taxes than men? If you are a stay at home mom and Profit off of any social benefits it’s because the workload they do is not paid but it’s still work beneficial to society. Women aren’t taxed less than men, the tax quota is the Same for everyone. The only reasonable argument as of why women may cost the taxpayer more money is because they tend to live longer, but there’s really nothing you can do about that.

If your boss talks about you like that you need a new job and if you were talked to like that as a kid I feel sorry for you. This is not a “normal” way to talk to or about either of these groups. If a woman talks like that then it’s weird and toxic behavior and you should walk away. Language use like that is not the norm in our society nor is it acceptable, no matter who uses it.

That hasn’t been my experience since I’ve been trying for 10 years now, but arguing obviously won’t change your mind. Anyway, any tips on how to achieve this would be greatly appreciated.

By that logic you can’t understand it from my perspective either, so how would you know it’s different?

Yes, I think it does, because if you go by above statistics, it’s implied that virgin females are a minority, while virgin males are a majority, putting even more pressure on females virgins and singling them out. Now I honestly don’t believe that, so I’m not saying it’s worse for either, but women can be just as embarrassed and insecure about that concept as men, sex takes up an equally big part in conversations and life for everyone. I think it’s relatable to be insecure about being a virgin, …

If you drop out of college because you aren’t having sex, then you had no reason to be there to begin with. You can have a perfectly good college experience without sex but first and foremost college is a place for education and preparation for your future life. You don’t go there to get laid and if somebody is making you feel bad about being a virgin then you need to find yourself some real friends. I say this as a female virgin in law school, everyone around me has been having sex for years an…
