I think the problem with a lot of people (myself included) is that the confident smile isn't given off quite right and comes off as friendship rather than an 'alpha' smile. Head's up though, I used to be the same way with my sunglasses, but ever since I bought my Ray Bans, I've made sure to take good care of them simply because I know how expensive they are.
