Any way you can move the date up to Wednesday or Thursday night? In my experience setting up a first date on a Friday or Saturday has a high likelihood for you being flaked on. The logic behind this is the girl is putting her weekend at risk by going out with a guy she doesn't know. She knows she will have fun if she spends time with her friends on the weekend. So if an opportunity comes up for her to do something with her friends instead she'll prob flake. She is more likely to "risk" a weeknig…

I do now, I have been doing it for a little over a month. Initially with the date I thought it was just a fun idea. Then almost a year later I decided to actually start going regularly. I come home and show my girlfriend what I learned which is fun. She plans on going once the contract at her gym is up.

I think it was like our 2nd or 3rd date and I'm still with her over a year later.

Yea it was. It's not like some hardcore training especially for your first class. The coach just had us mount each other and try different chokes and stuff. It was fun joking around that choking her was fulfilling some of my fantasies lol.

Yea it's hard to be an expert but it's pretty easy to nail down the basic step. There is a beginners class for pretty much everything. Even if you were born with two left feet the girl will appreciate you tried as long as your are having fun with it.

Generally speaking Friday or Saturday night is not a good option for a first date. A girl is putting her night on the line for you when she accepts a date. She could have almost guaranteed fun by hanging out with her friends on a Friday night vs. taking the risk and going out with some boy she doesn't know. It is better to suggest a day during the week (Mon-Thurs). Girls don't need to give you a chance. They need to want to go out with you, and there is your job to get her to feel like that.

There is an infinite amount of possibilities that could have happened. She could have been dating someone already and decided to take that relationship seriously. She could have dropped her phone and it broke and hasn't gotten it replaced yet. She could have died....Dont dwell on it. Just note what you think you did right and wrong and move on.

Yea I know it's hard though, when a girl I like messages me and asks to hang out obviously I want to say yes.

Well I don't want to be the rebound guy with this girl. She was in that relationship for like 4 years....so I feel like she needs time to get over him anyways. But then again I'm putting words in her mouth and I have no fucking clue how girls think.

Damn, are you sure about that? I was always under the impression that a girl likes you for a little bit and then they move on unless you take action right away. I probably shouldn't tell her, that the girl I am currently dating is leaving in April right?

I have a membership at a climbing gym in my town and they allow for one free visitor a month with your subscription. I usually reserve those for a date. It's a great first date idea, it's exciting and different for a girl. They are also putting their lives in your hands when you are belaying them so there is def trust bonding there. Also, you need to keep in mind that it's a risk for a girl too to go on a first date with a guy. Sure, they probably aren't going to spend any money, but time is val…

I think cutting off contact initially helps with getting over someone. However, I think universally speaking that burning bridges is never a good idea. For example I had a serious girlfriend and we had a great relationship but then had a bad breakup. She immediately went into a new relationship, and I had to cut off all communication with her mainly because I was jealous honestly. About a year later, homecoming for my university was coming up and I knew I was going to run into her because we sha…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
