Been there done that. If its that bad already, better to cut your losses now. Yes people are gonna be upset, you may even lose some friends over it. But in the end, it's your life...don't spend it miserable because you are worried about what others are gonna think or say. Its your life, not theirs

Give it a fair and honest go. You may be surprised what comes out, what you learn, maybe even about yourself. Also, with the help of a counselor, your wife may be even more receptive to understanding what your issues with the marriage are, and might try to fix things that she's doing to upset you. Good luck.

Food addiction, like any other addiction, is seriously tough to overcome. As someone who's lost a lot of weight, only to ga in it all back a couple of times, I know the struggle. Food addicts have it even worse, than say, drug users or alcoholics, because you literally are surrounded by all types of unhealthy foods no matter where you go, whereas, you can kind of shelter yourself from drugs and alcohol without too hard of a time.
