No idea where to even find one. And one would have to wade through the massive amounts of Army/Military/Government sources to do so. Right now, we have two female who got pregnant just to avoid deployment. Another awesome factor for women is that getting pregnant is their golden ticket to getting out of the Army. From what I understand (which is, admittedly limited) is that as soon as the father signs the birth certificate that's it. There have also been cases floating around here where the mother simply named the man and he was put on the birth certificate and that was enough.

Not really much of a runner anymore, nor did i ever compete at that level... but i would have to say no. That's crazy. I've been driving since I was 14 (in Iowa we have 'school permits' which allows kids to drive to and from school/sports/events by themselves as long as they don't deviate too far from the most sensible path. There's some leeway given for picking up/dropping off friends, gas station, and such, but you can go to, say, the grocery store.) and even then my insurance didn't cost that much. Granted, it increased when I got speeding tickets, but went back down after a year or two.

That makes me wonder if there is a large discrepancy in the US insurance cost as well. I remember after the second speeding ticket my cost jumped to almost $300 a month, but that lasted less than a year. I've always lived in Iowa, where needless to say, driving is hardly a "privilege" but a necessity, as public transportation is practically non-existent outside major (at least by Iowa standards) cities. Perhaps costs are lower in rural areas?

Is this whole crazy insurance cost a non-American thing? I have 4 vehicles plus a motorcycle with the following coverage: 2 old trucks that don't drive over 1000 miles a year a mid 2000s sedan with full coverage a brand spanking new car with full coverage motorcycle with pure liability (also under 1000 miles a year) I'm male, 25, have a few speeding tickets, and still pay just over $600 every six months for the insurance listed above... Looks like I run .935. While it may be a low ratio, it's not even half a deviation from normal (SD = .029 | My difference is .012) To be fair, the ratio being low does imply a higher T level. I could go through all of the correlations listed if there is any interest, but it seems like about half appear to be true (at least in my case, and at my perception). Still very interesting such an odd physical feature correlates to a hormonal level. Thanks for the info!

Glad to help. That whole experience really taught me a lot about hormones. It would be very, very interesting to see studies relating to high/low levels of testosterone/estrogen in men and women and how they react differently. I know my wife has a lower than normal level of estrogen and a slightly high T level. She is by leaps and bounds the most emotionally stable woman I have ever met. Well, neither of those stories are hypothetical. They both happened, and I imagine it happens rather often with couples. But to label either story as rape is simply asinine and to think that others would consider that it is rape is terrifying. What I really like about these two stories (which are real) is that if Story 1 is rape, you are forced to admit that Story 2 is also rape else you are showing obvious bias/sexism. The better part, is that you are forced to say that my wife (who is barely 5'1" and I am literally more than double her weight at 95 and 230 respectively) is now a rapist, and big, gruff me as the rape victim.

I think you vastly underestimate how cunning, evil, and theatrical some people can be. Since this is (what I really hope is) an extraordinary situation, I think one can assume that mother in question here is one of those truly psychotic people. I don't find it hard to believe that she just played the part for as long as she needed to in order to cash in on some easy money. People can be great actors/actresses. And also extremely evil. And especially when the reward is a (sizable) paycheck.

Just wondering here... But, wouldn't "purposely" standing next to someone (perhaps in line, or an elevator etc) "place another person in apprehension of immediate physical injury" since they could, you know, unexpectedly get punched? Or say I were to give my friend ride in my car. Since at any moment there could be a car crash (that I may, or may not, be at fault for), and I am purposely placing my friend in my car, couldn't that constitute (3)? More Title IX insanity: My HS wanted to start a bowling team. We never did get our bowling team. Why?
