Be prepared to back slide...be prepared for her to suddenly realize the shift in power and fight back against it...be prepared to doubt yourself and your journey. Much like lifting gets you newb gains at the start, but down the road the PRs become farther between, injuries will set you back, etc. The redpill journey is no different. Be prepared to handle those set backs.

I work from home. I'm always here. I built a gym in my garage, not because I'm embarrassed of being in a real gym, but because I wanted fewer chances of making excuses. Nearly 3 years in, I've had no skip days. I think it worked. Of course, it's not for everyone. When I travel, I get day passes at local barbell gyms. Gets me out in the social aspect of it all. I get some free tips while I'm there (people don't try to sell you memberships and trainer hours when you're only around a couple days). …

Women who have grown up in a comfortable society don't realize that it took masculinity to give it to them, just the same as it takes capitalism to give socialists the ability to want equality in economic standings in society. Give people comfort, and soon they'll want to get rid of the things that provided it to them.

It's like taking that CPR class every so often. It's a necessity to reinforce, especially for those that may be so focused on other MRP aspects, that they forget this one.

When you started lifting at 44, how much did you weigh? I had weighed 168 lb. I was skinny fat. I lost almost 30 lbs on diet alone and started lifting at 140 lb. I was at 160 lb this summer when i was staying really lean, but now that I'm about to start my cycle again, I've upped my intake, hence the 165. did you have any previous experience in the gym? Never lifted in my life. Never played sports. I'm a software engineer, so I was leading a sedentary lifestyle until that point. how long did you…

I'm 165 lb. My scales (Renpho) say I'm 23.7% body fat, but I don't trust it. I am pretty lean and vascular and have a defined 6-pack. One day I'll get a real test done, but honestly, I know I'm pretty lean, so I don't sweat the numbers. My lifts are down since I've been off cycle for about 4 months. About to start up. At peak on my last cycle, I was 400 lb deadlift, 250 lb bench, and 300 lb squat. Right now it's about 350/225/260. When I first started lifting 2 years ago at age 44, I plateaued i…

Not, elevated body fat increases the rate at which T is converted to E2. Also, everyone's aromatization rate is different, so what works for one person wont work for another. I run TRT at 150mg/wk, and every 4-6 months, I run a full cycle to really bulk up. Even at my full 500mg/wk on-cycle, I take a very low AI dose (12.5mg of Asin every 7 days). Any more than that, I get E2 deficit symptoms. Some guys have to take an AI every 2-3 days at a higher dose than what I take every 7 days. So find you…

Hello. 46, MRP for 1.5y now, 5 years married, together 9 (second marriage), 3 kids, two of them adults. The topic of a motorcycle brings up what I've been going through for the past few months. I'm a long way off from perfect, but I've been MRP for a while and have seen some good progress for myself. Back in February, my wife woke up one Saturday morning and randomly asked me to sit down, because she had something she wanted to talk about and wasn't sure how I would take it. So I put everything …

In a similar vein to this, you have to be decisive. Women are indecisive because they don't know what they want at a later time and fear regretting the decision at some future point. Men who are indecisive are so for a different reason; they fear they will choose something that someone else wont like (i.e. their wife). This is the core of a lot of betas. If there's a decision to make, then do so, based on what is best for you (short or long term), with no hesitation and little or no concern for …

I concur. When my mom was married to my Dad, she was feminist in many ways (not fem-nazi, but she definitely leaned toward it). When they divorced (her decision), she later remarried a Navy guy. She's now an NRA instructor, voted Trump, and flies a Confederate Flag in her front yard. In my eyes, these are two different women, definitely defined by the man that was/is by her side. One might argue that her new husband "allowed her true self" to come out. Either way, the difference is striking.

I also fast until after my workout (noon). I take 10g BCAA 10 minutes before my workout and mix 2-3g with a liter of water to drink through the rest of the day (2-3 liters per day). From my understanding, BCAA is different than normal protein. It's like the difference between crack and cocaine (BCAA being the crack), as it is immediately absorbed by your muscles, as opposed to protein needing breaking down or processing or something or other. I've forgotten most of what I read about this topic, …

On the diet changes for c cutting, I've always been told to cut calories from carbs and replace with fat. Keep your protein up (1g/1lb of body weight seems to be the suggestion for each day). I had to drink more protein powder to keep my calories down while still getting protein. Don't stop eating a meal, though. Real food is important to get the macros. I also drank BCAA all day. 2-3g in a litter of water to help retain muscle while on caloric deficit. Should help you keep that muscle next time…

The one part you're right about is writing this post, but not for the reasons you assume. It was about ego. I was hoping to contribute to TRP with my own experience, and while my post may not be as thought provoking or ground breaking as others, it was a first attempt and out of my normal environment, so I make no excuses for it. That being said, I can only take the feedback and work on improving for next time.

See, you're assuming she wanted to hide that from me. I already knew she wanted the attention. When we left the table she said she wanted me to see it so I knew what she dealt with when I wasn't around. She's attractive. I'd be naive to think she doesn't get hit on. I know for a fact she wanted me to flirt to offset the fact that she was doing the same because she said exactly that. She said "now you need to flirt so I don't feel bad."

Make eye contact with every male that is coming towards you I don't fully agree with this one. When I see a guy with his girl staring me down, I get the sense he is insecure and needs to intimidate other guys because he isn't confident that his girl would stick around if a guy tried to pull moves. Personally, I don't acknowledge anyone unless they matter to me. I may look their way in a crowd, but I don't try to make direct eye contact. When I started, I weighed about 162. I made the mistake of starving until I dropped to 136. I was skinny (I'm 5'10") and I had no abs even at that weight. I would have been better off not worrying about the abs and just started bulking from the get go, then doing a cut. I'm 156 now and my abs look good (you can see a 6 pack, but not rolling hills of ab muscle by any means). I would suggest just bulking muscle, eating right (and plenty), and sleeping 8 hours a night. Now that it's fall (unless yo…

Definitely a difficult change. Personally, I found that fasting until after my workout (12pm-1pm) and then eating my bulk meals at 1pm and 5pm, then two smaller meals at 7pm and 9pm, worked much better for controlling my appetite. During the day I can keep busy enough to not eat, and just drink fluids. While at night, I find it hard to ignore my hunger.

I can confirm this. As someone who hires software engineers, I don't put a lot on weight on what they did for their job history. Those tasks were given to them. They had to do it. I take a lot from what they worked on in their own time. What software did they write themselves? What problems did they see and find a solution for without the need for some manager to hand down a statement-of-work to get them going? What's their passion? These are, by far, better indicators of the type of engineers I…

You should try to keep your calories as close to, but slightly less than your maintenance intake while weightlifting until you trim some body fat. This will help your body lose weight, while converting it to muscle. It will be slow, and you wont notice it from day-to-day, but I'll guarantee if you stick with it, after 6 months, you'll see a huge difference. Take before and after pics. I didn't realize how much I bulked until I looked at my original pic side-by-side.

You'd be surprised what incorrect estrogen levels (high and low) can change about a man. From simple bitchiness to fatigue to decreased libido to cravings for chocolate. Getting your testosterone levels increased is one thing, but if you don't correct your diet and body fat, that increased T will turn into E2, and you'll hate life.

I can't even bother with people that worry about form. We live in a day and age where you can literally find anything on the Internet. Hell, when I started my own TRT, I found a video from a doctor explaining how to give yourself Testosterone injections, step by step. If you need to learn proper form, then search google for "how to properly perform a (deadlift|shoulder press|bench press|back squat)". There's tons of videos. I'll take your analogy one step further, because it's closer to what we see today. Let's say there's just "White's Milkshakes." He charges $5 per shake, serves everyone and anyone willing to walk in the door and pay that money. Across the street, another milkshake competitor opens up, but this was is called "Black's Milkshakes." They sell basically the same product. However, Mr. Black wants to smear Mr. White so he can take his business. To do this, he starts giving away milkshakes to minorities…

More than likely, she'll tell her friends about the experience and they will all console her with "no way, you're beautiful and don't need to change." And then she'll continue on because society is telling fat women that losing weight has nothing to do with being healthy, and they think they can shame men into liking sweaty rolls of donut-filled flesh.

Much appreciated. I've seen too many posts trying to justify mediocrity using some bullshit reasoning. That society and women in general are to blame for your shortcomings. It is literally too hard a pill for you to swallow to admit that you created this world you live in. I may have done that inadvertently in my wording. I was hoping to drive the point that it should not be his goal at this point in his journey. I, of course, want him to succeed. As such, I want to make sure his focus is in the right place. At this point he's like an alcoholic that's been dry all of a week and comes to AA talking about how all the bartenders hate him because he's trying to get all of his old dinking buddies to quit consuming alcohol and promoting that as a good thing. It is not. And we should not be condoning that.

Men's rights groups are about affecting laws and societal views to not make it a crime to be a man. Protection against undue process for rape accusations, etc. TRP is only indirectly about that, but it's more about turning you from being a whiny bitch boy into an alpha male. Every time I hear you say something about women hating you and how your work hurts them, you don't sound like an alpha male, you sound like an overly aggressive bitch boy. No he says he has saved other betas from being play toys for women, so clearly he isn't just discussing it with people who already know about TRP. It's clear to me when he says things like "I'm hurting women so I know I'm doing a good job" that he is off on the wrong foot. So what if it hurts women, but if that's your barometer for success, then you're not measuring success in the right way. EDIT: Here's the exact quote: Women despise me for what I do and I am happy that they have all this hatred against me as it is a sign that what I do hurts them. My point with OP is that he seems to be on a crusade to piss off as many women as possible. Trying to turn a bunch of betas over to TRP just to piss off or hurt women is pretty dumb. EDIT: Also OP is admittedly fresh in TRP and does not get chicks himself. I wish I could reply to you and u/SilverGryphon both, but I chose you (and highlighted him, so hopefully he sees this). The analogy here with the matrix is an important one. People can not be force fed the "red pill." Even in the movie, it is just an analogy. It's the act of choice that gives it the affect, not the pill itself. You cannot force TRP on someone. They must go willingly, and we are here to guide them on their journey, not force them down a road they can't handle. Lastly, women will …

I don't expect anyone to take care of Chad's kids, but the fact is, some beta white knight will come along and do it, whether you want them to or not. There will always be betas and alphas just like there will always be poor and rich. This will never change. The left gains their power by taking stances on societal issues in such a way that if you disagree with them, they can accuse of being selfish and uncaring, thus taking the moral high ground and not having to defend their motives and proposed solutions at all. I've never bought into this "turning the tables" fantasy. Personally, I like that the "matrix" exists. I can see it, and use it as I see fit. No life improvement professional (personal trainer, financial advisor, career advisor, etc.) ever takes on a new client and begins with "this is going to be easy, just don't be lazy, and if you can't handle the first 2 days, you will just be a failure." I question the way you're framing things, and your defense of it isn't convincing me otherwise.
/r/TheRedPill04/07/17 09:08 PM

Let me put it another way. Saying this is all easy does two things: Does not prepare people who want to undertake it for the effort that is really involved and demoralizes them when they find it "hard", which in turn will make them afraid to ask for help or words of encouragement because they are worried people will just say "dude, it's easy, get over it" Trivializes the effort of people who are actually successful at doing these things by making it sound like they didn't do anything special. It's about improving you, and when you do that, great things happen, which, yes, include banging chicks. If you come at TRP with a focus on getting pussy, you will fail. If you come at it with a focus on improving YOU, then you have the right mindset.

I still think it's true. This isn't the cancer responding to them, it's responding to you. If you have no one, but you're happy and content in your life, I don't think you'll fair any worse than some one who hates themselves, even if they have 3 kids, 2 parents, a wife and 4 grand kids. This is a good point. One of the debilitating factors of chemo is lack of appetite, which will, in turn, cause weight loss. Pro tip, do not try the stereotypical move of wrapping yourself around a girls body to show them how to shoot. This is so over-played by beta creeps, most girls get offended that you even try. Better move, if they ask, or obviously need help, have them line up their pool shot like they normally would, then stand behind and to the right of them. I literally threw away everything but the clothes I had on and went to the outlet malls and reworked my whole wardrobe. I had long hair, chopped it off and went with a clean cut and shave. I transformed myself. It sounds superficial, bu…
