1	Petition to have Amber Heard removed as the L'Oreal Spokesperson I created this petition and this double standard was one of the main reasons behind creating it. If women want to be treated equally it comes with the good and bad. If a man loses a job because he was falsely accused, why is it okay for a woman to keep hers when she has admitted to being an abuser? If we want to be seen as equals we need to treat men more equally and believe them in areas where they are blatantly discredited and ignored. I’ve survived domestic violence... twice. I meant it more along the lines of, it’s not gender specific. Both men and women can be victims and suffer long term from it. While yes, women tend to suffer more from it, I’ve personally seen what it can do to men and how it affects them long term as well. I’m a woman who is a survivor of domestic violence. I know the pain and the heart break it causes, and the damage it does on your life even after the physical scars have faded. Domestic violence doesn’t just mean an attack from a man on a woman. It is not gender specific. If women want to be treated as equals then that means for everything. The good and the bad.
