He says he finds girls being taller than him a challenge and another piece of the game in dominance.

helped? sure. but he’s also made it clear that being submissive and serving him is why he’s kept me.

I’m my Captains type. He also had the pick of the city when he decided to keep me..... And he made it clear if I wasn’t sweet, submissive, and supportive (within reason) then it wasn’t gonna workout. He taught me how to serve him as he wanted. I was a 4 when we met. I’m a 7.5ish now... and yes, I’m 5’7 with no disorders My guess is that if you’re in a large city (where liberalism is the norm), and you decide to learn how to be feminine, present the best you can, and develop muscle tone, you’ll f…

I never mention RP, or any keywords. I just explain what my early 20s were like (dissatisfied carousel riding, etc) and how choosing something g else changed my life.

the reading list here is solid. brooke castillo has a podcast that is amazing and free. She focuses on creating the life you want now, and that your past is just data. I highly recommend her. The best answer you’re going to get here, is put your time in improving. learn how to love and serve your captain. learn how to be a functional adult. develop emotional maturity. And it’s all a small step at a time; these things are made of small decisions, everyday. You’re not your past, but reprogramming …

I choose to be in a semi-open relationship. Basically, girls are on the table for both of us.I know this is not a popular decision in this group. He made it clear from day one that he wasn’t going to be “faithful”, but that he’d keep safety agreements. It took me two years to figure it out; I’d have panic attacks that ruined my days every time I knew he’d have another date. He’d hold me as much as he could that day, wrapping me up as I was a hysterical mess. Then he’d slip into my bed after his …

first, how old are you? are you looking for a Captain.... where a Captain would be? Yes, you will find a lot of Betas....just keep looking. In the mean time, hit the gym, do your thought work and learn to be feminine.

I always had sympathies for guys, that it was a shit deal to be male in our society. I specialize in helping men feel seen, and evolving to be more stable, etc. Bewn doing that for 8 years. But I was still mentally Bp; I was hanging out in liberal communities, and it... made sense. I felt trapped. Then I met my Captain, who pointed me to RP. He appreciated my compassion for being male in our society, and is so much fun to be around. We don’t agree on everything, but it’s been a great compromise …

You’re different people, and have different needs! Seriously though, a chill morning routine is amazing. I’m also a morning person, but I have developed a 90- minute routine. Meditation, yoga, tea, self coaching/ thought work. It just creates a nice baseline for the day, and prepares me to be in the best place possible emotionally.

It’s such an ongoing process! You start to see one layer, after the fact, while you’re doing it, then when you have the impulse. Then you see another layer of habits, and go through the process again. It starts to be fun; it’s like “oh! I see how that’s annoying in other people, les figure out this puzzle for myself!”. One thought, make sure to show him appreciation for doing the outdoor work. Make the satisfying, enjoyable dinner.... rub his shoulders and say “thank you for XYZ”. Even if they’r…

So... there’s a lot of info we don’t have here. What is lacking? What do you wish was your experience? What happens if you try to initiate? Do you take care of yourself? Are you fit, and.... his type? How is your emotional dynamic with him? Are you being feminine, soft, inviting, appreciative? I’m wondering if there’s some deeper behavioral stuff that makes the clothing question.... beside the point. That being said, get some camisoles or teddies, something soft or lacey (that he’ll want to touc…

Also the consistent exercise habit creates the effect of doing something for yourself consistently, and being a person who works out as a lifestyle. it’s great.

Two week? That’s hardly long enough to develop a new skill. I often ask my Captain “What can I do better?” and “How can I serve your needs more to your satisfaction?”. Originally, it was a mechanism to teach me how to please him sexually, without me getting defensive about a sensitive topic. But now I use it for everything, if I don’t know what to do, or if I feel like I misstepped. It’s being passive (asking him for direction) while giving him an opening. If he doesn’t have this skill, it could…

Take your time. Slow down. All of this is your thoughts causing discomfort. Hampstering does no one any good. Sense you had the convo about communicating, has he followed through on it? It’s been how many months? You’re young. He’s young. You’re learning skills, together. That’s a process. Allow both of yourselves to grow; who you were three months ago, is not who you are now. You’re at a cross roads of deciding if you want to stay. Really look at him, all the things that are amazing. The way he…

TLDR: The contrast in the subs is created by a difference in needs and desires between the sexes. Compound this by years of feeling used and silenced, I understand the place of anger these posts come from. I was introduced to the RP mindset by a RP man. I regularly read posts over there, and and understand where they’re coming from. We need and want different things. The real down fall of most western relationships right now, is each person trying to give what they want (golden rule), it not bei…

How long have you been with him? Has he chosen you? If yes, then he likes you. I went through this process. When my Captain met me, I was red flags everywhere. Had identified as polyamorous for my adult life (as the guys would say, rising the carousel), minimal social skills, tomboy and was mildly obese. I’ve spent our relationships.... developing social skills (in being kind to him, and acting in a machiavellian way in public), getting fit, learning to dress/act feminine, and learning how to be…

I did this successfully without meaning to. Fell in love with the Captain who taught me to be a good First Mate, while my recent ex attempted suicide. I obviously don’t regret this.... However, using a new guy to get back at the old one is petty and wasting everyone’s time. Get with your next partner because you’ve vetted him and is a good match for you and the life you want.

it sure there’s a prescribed way to handle fitness in RP, other than do it. And educate yourself; move from a place of decision and intentionality. I have built my routine to become... more of my captains type. ex: big hips, smaller waste. So I focus on building leg muscles, and figuring out how to stop over eating. But yeah, that overeating thing. I went keto, dairy free when I first met my captain... lost 40 lbs. but now I’m down to my (HWP) “habit weight”; as in if I’m not dating an alcoholic…

The whole point is that we need and want different things.... it makes sense that we’re put off by that reality. That said I love this paragraph! It’s so true; do something with your life, and let me help you... we like feeling useful.

It’s not a huge topic. It’s not that we disagree, it’s that talking politics in general just stresses me out crazy. Thought work to do... Ironically, I think I’m more pro-trump than he is... my business partner will give me the basic rundown for why trump is doing things, and that’s presented in a way that I don’t ostrich about it.

getting a pet now may not be kind to the long term reality of having an animal dependent on her. There’s over ways to get touch, but getting a pet during a time of mourning is potentially hazardous

I was already a little MRA, not SJW when I met him; one of our first convos was about how it’s rough to be a dude in America. There’s some ways he think wen are more privileged than I do, but honestly there’s no reason to talk about it. Doesn’t change anything. I also have a “no politics please” policy in my life, in general... so it’s pretty easy to just be passive about it. He’s also working crazy hard right now... so I think he’s not as active in that world as he usually is

skin care: cleanser, active, and two moisturizers. morning and night I eat keto and dairy free. Just how I’m the most functional... I het a solid 8 hours of sleep each night. I do some stretching, usually during my self coaching, most mornings I try to make it to the gym 3-5 days a week... mixed results. I love lifting weights, it is apart of my stress relief. I have done enough aerials to know I want it to be apart of my routine. They are expensive though, and another slot in my schedule. I dec…

I want to write 4 blogposts this month. I’m going on a retreat in late January; I want to have my room tidy for myself when I come back. All the clothes hung up, makeup organized, bed made. Continue doing my skin care routine two times a day. Some flexibility training every day.

A good haircut is worth every penny. Get your skin care routine down. Good skin requires less makeup to look presentable, and less skill to look amazing. Agreeing with the comments about having your wardrobe simple. I actually have a separate area of my closet for professional wear, so I don’t have to look past all the options. Grab what’s clean and go.

I’d heard about them for years, and had always wanted to go, just assumed was cost prohibitive. It’s probably a good thing I didn’t find out it’s donation only before I met my Captain, I never would’ve left. Its called a vipassana; if you do some googling you’ll find a retreat center that is in your area. It was amazing. I’d done meditation before, and am a trained tantric, but this allowed for such deep introspection and healing. They provide bare minimum room and bored for 11 days; allowing you…

I’m going to a 10 day silent retreat in late January I’m so excited. Need to get my bedroom to the next level of organization. My captain is giving me a good desktop computer, going to start building an online presence, including consistent writing. I joined a system for self coaching, it’s been great for December, and I’m excited to be doing the program for 2020.
