But then they will talk about the orgasm gap and that its unfair to women so men should do everything they can to close it. It's like anything that can benefit men over women must be fought . People are very inconsistent

Nah not really, It's not about first dates but dating in general most men who are looking for an ltr won't care if it doesn't happen on the first date. But if he knows you have no problem with that normally but keep saying that you wanna wait with him specifically he will feel some way about it

I mean the reasons for her change can be valid, it doesn't change the fact that upon learning that her partner would feel less valuable
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/23 03:46 PM

If they really like the guy they don't make him wait. But if they are trying to like him they will it happens if they "settle " for someone.

In her cases it just became sacred but it didn't use to be in her past that's the difference, if she always has been traditional most men won't have a problem with it. We don't like inconsistencies or hypocrisy or unfairness

Dating with the goal of a committed relationship. You do everything else that it entails, but for fancier dates or activities specifically he says he wants to wait (no other reasons) he just prefers to wait to be in a "more secure relationship for that".

We don't know it at first yeah but it's things you learn about your partner with time and it hurt in hindsight. It makes someone think they were played or settled for. Nobody likes feeling settled for or feeling less valuable. Look I understand that for most women sex is kinda not really the first thing they value in a relationship. But for men it's really important and it is tied to our sense of self-worth. I don't think most women understand that (or you do but can't relate). So if you give it…

I mean for a first date yeah but after like a month of seeing a guy if he likes you and has the means he should do something fancier. In that scenario he just says that you have to wait for it, when with other girls those fancy dates happen earlier in the relationship. It took him like a month to do a fancy date with the ex but in your case it's 6 months or more and he justifies it by saying he likes you too much and doesn't want to lose you
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/23 02:59 PM

It's an analogy to the fact that some women will say " I like him so much and don't want to lose him that I won't have sex with him for x amount of time" when she has no problem with casual sex normally. It just doesn't make any sense and would make anyone feel like they aren't really being liked. I used the dates analogy because I know women tend to value that a lot , we could use a lot of other examples tho.

The implication is not that sex is equivalent but that some rules are made for some ppl and not others. If you are a woman that have always valued sex and has been really careful about it and doesn't partake in casual sex, most men would respect it if you made them wait a little for that. We have a problem when the rules differ for us ( if you have casual sex normally, but it becomes sacred all of the sudden). Look I can understand that with time we can see things differently and we act less rec…

Low effort dates basically a walk in the park or just coffee nothing that's too expensive and requires planning or real effort
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/23 02:37 PM

Yes you are but more like coffee ee dates and walks in the park nothing that requires too much thinking money or effort on his part. The bare minimum until he feels ready for more

He thinks fancy dates are so sacred since he got hurt before and that there needs to be a wait, he doesn't tell you when, just that it will happen when the time is right. You wouldn't wait a little and see where things could go (in that situation you really like the guy)?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/23 02:16 PM

Men who usually ask for a paternity tests already have a suspicion that their partner is cheating. As much as it can hurt a woman's ego, a DNA test on the child is a valid request if someone has doubts. In order to reduce situations where a man wants to know for sure we should have DNA tests at birth, that way the state and the parents know for sure who is responsible for the child. If the man chooses to take care of the child regardless that's his decision. Fathers have a right to know and we s…

I understand them personally a dinner date sounds like too much effort and seems too formal when you meet someone you don't know. I prefer not to bring a woman to a restaurant unless we already know each other or had have sex a couple at wich point the ice is broken and spending some money on a date with her is an experience I'm pretty sure I'll enjoy rather than it feeling like a job interview
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/23 01:34 PM
1

It'd be fair to assume 100% are it's usually the first thing we want from a date but not the only one, take the possibility of sex out the equation most men won't stick even the "good guys"
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/23 01:07 PM
1

This ! Women act like being a fuckboy is such a bad thing they don't want (when they lust after them). In reality if they could lock down these men they wouldn't bother with the average guy. If you are her type she won't care if the first date is a dinner date or a walk in the park with a great conversation
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/23 01:01 PM
2

In my experience usually they come straight to my place if it's for something casual or she knows you already, when it's serious dating they prefer meeting outside though no need to bring her to a expensive restaurant. If she asks for that it's a massive red flag ( think she deserves everything) Women who insists on expensive restaurants on her first date will probably be high maintenance and believe they should be spoiled and is the "prize".

Duty when there's choldren, convenience if there's none I believe. Men can get screwed in custody battles too so it's more logical for them to stay married if the children are young. There's a lot of factors but for men short term happiness is not at the top. Whereas women will focus way more on that aspect even if divorcing could make her her life objectively worse. The hope or possibity of being eventually happier tends to be enough
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/23 07:30 PM

Indeed I don't think people do themselves a favor by suffering in a shitty marriage Sometimes your wife leaving you can be the best thing that happens to you
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/23 12:17 AM
3

I mean men do get a mid life crisis and sometimes seek excitement, the stats still say women file for divorce like 70-80% of the time Men are less likely to file for divorce but they still do.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/23 11:47 PM
5

Women value happiness more than men do. If she feels unhappy for a while often they will put that on the relationship and view lacks the excitement of the first few months as the relationship going bad Dating can bring excitement and the possibility of new things wich gets someone out of their boredom and could potentially bring them excitement (wich ppl conflate for happiness). Us men don't necessarily make our life decisions based on happiness but rather on what we think is convenient or right…

What is a high body count for a man aged 26?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/23 10:14 PM
2

Exactly, That asshole behavior could potentially "protect her" so as longs as she isn't too much of victim of it she will tolerate it, even encourage it (in some weird kinky way), they like when men are agressive, toxic women will provoke you just so they can see it
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/23 10:31 PM
21

A lot of "nice people " mistake their weakness for kindness ( or women will perceive kind men as potentially weak). When women say they want nice guys they mean someone who won't be too much of an asshole to them. But because of the halo effect the more attractive the guy the more women tolerate bad behavior as long as she thinks they can benefit from it

It's fulfilling at first, after that it becomes glorified masturbation. Mediocre sex is better than no sex for men so even when it's not fulfilling it is still better than your hand. Plus women are just less sexually available by nature so when they offer it to a man he'll most likely take it

Improving yourself can help you for sure and it might give you some "points". The thing is from my experience and what I have seen with other people is that self improvement has its limits. Even standards (of a man character) are bullshit. Some guys have to litteraly put no effort they can be boring and aloof af and women will just say they are mysterious. NOTHING BEAT LS THE HALO EFFECT NOTHING AT ALL. Women will say they wanna be taken care of and blabla .... I can tell that none of that matte…

What if he has a lot of casual sex is he a loser 🤔 or you mean sexless single men?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/09/23 12:07 PM

This. The moments i had the most success with women was when I didn't care and was kinda arrogant towards them I was kinda overly confident but it really worked. If I knew there was clear attraction I didn't wait to get "too sexual" with them and it never mattered to them they actually really like a guy who is "toxic". Some behaviors are only toxic when unattractive man have them wich says a lot. Women won't always always "accept " that behavior but deep down it turns them on.

It's not abnormaly high just means he slays and is popular with women. When I say abnormaly high I mean in the around a 100 under a couple of years. A 22 year old male is probably not even looking to settle down and is permanently horny so he'll fuck any women that makes herself available. Men at that age really don't care tbh. You should not take a 22 yr old "Chad seriously if this is the case for the guy you are seeing. He would probably just see you as one the of the girls he's fucking.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/09/23 02:24 PM
1

An abnormaly high N-count is highly correlated with some sort of mental health issue or trauma. So in a sense it should always be considered as a red flag or a yellow one at least.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/09/23 02:11 PM
1

When it comes to casual encounters it don't matter that's true. I guess the threshold is different. For ltr, men can easily be disgusted by a woman if the n-count is like 10 or more. Whereas woman will find you disgusting if you reach a number that means you have a pathology or something like in the hundreds.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/09/23 02:03 PM
2

I mean it normally takes some "work" to get in bed with women. If aan has a high n count it means that women in general like him and that they require much less of him for some fun . They benefit socially from that. But when it comes to ltr it does make potential partners jealous. Though women will rarely find it to be a deal breaker in a sense they are proud to bag a "fine man". So yes it's totally a double standards that benefit a small pool of men
/r/PurplePillDebate17/09/23 02:00 PM

They don't care as much as we do but they still do
/r/PurplePillDebate17/09/23 01:53 PM
2

At the end of the day women still care a little about it. Maybe not as much as men do but women will definitely find it to ba a red flag if he has seen and slept with a lot of women. It might not be a deal breaker but it still matters somehow. A high N-count will always raise eyebrows when you look for something serious
/r/PurplePillDebate17/09/23 01:51 PM

It's sad but you are right, women will respect you more if they know you have options, it means you are less likely to simp and be manipulated by them🤷🏾‍♂️

Anything can be a red flag honestly just do you and navigate the way you see fit Don't marry or settle down with a man who is too jealous of your friendships but understand that men see things differently and have different boundaries. Don't dismiss potential lovers but don't let them control you. At the end of the day you need to find the right balance adjust accordingly

My ex definitely found it to be a red flag that I have a lot of female friends in fact most girls that I dated were kinda jealous of my female friends it always came up, but they had male friends and saw nothing wrong with it, people are just hypocrites

Ah I see you were probably always her type but it just was not the "right time". Either way she always saw you as more than a friend. You were the guy she'd probably date or fuck if she was single. You were never her friend . When it happens it's an expectation not a rule guys shouldn't count on it

Men go for fat and unattractive women all the time, women (even the ugly ones) tend to be much pickier and would rather stay thirsty then fuck a guy they see as beneath them. If a women is gonna have sex she at least wants it to be enjoyable ( with someone they find somewhat attractive and dateable). For men well it's just about getting our dick wet and if you are desperate enough any woman will do Women think no sex is better than mediocre sex. For men we think mediocre sex is better than no se…

It can happen but it's definitely rare. Chances are she was waiting on you to make a move and was interested from day 1. You probably never made a move cause you never felt the same. In her case it failed. In a nutshell don't befriend people you tryna fuck or go on a date with ,just don't waste your time!
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/23 04:02 PM

Men have pretty low standards to begin with, most of us have texted or got laid with women we don't wanna seen in public with I never seen the inverse situation IRL If by lower your standards you mean go for trans or disabled women than you are right

I mean if they know a good chunk of them are married men so much so that they brag about it I guess they can find a way to know who is or not. At least for the guys that message them cause they always tell on themselves apparently. But I guess these guys tip well so why ban them?

If they were consistent yes. But that would mean losing money and hey no one wants to lose money so we just don't think about those things

I'm far from an incel actually I'm quite the opposite but I hate to brag about it. I used to laugh at them until I started to listen and see where they come from (doesn't mean I agree with them). In a sense I have sympathy for them. Anyway I think it's totally normal to expect to be able to take care of that need without it being complicated. Do you believe that women in ltr shouldn't do porn then bcuz it's kinda cheating if you give other men access to your body in any way?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/23 12:35 PM

The only way they can meet their needs is by paying for it. I believe they are being being taken advantage of because we normally expected to be able to meet this need for free ( at least outside of a sex work situation). For men sex is definitely a need if you cannot get laid you will feel like a failure of a person, it is important for us and I think most women just don't get it (the ones who do will exploit us) . If you are not in a ltr the way you take care of your need is by having casual s…

They are being taken advantage of as harsh as it sounds. The same way a worker is being taken advantage of by their boss, it goes for a lot of "unequal" relationships you can have with people? Are sex workers scum of the earth for taking advantage of someone? No I don't think so but we have to say it for what it is, they exploit the needs and loneliness of men for financial gain. In life we all take advantage of people and get taken advantage of. When it comes to sex and companionship I think it…
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/23 12:00 PM

They definitely do but hey that's capitalism you know🤷🏾‍♂️. I think women on OF are worse since they know they don't even have to meet or touch these men no matter how you put it they exploit lonely men for their money. If these men had access to normal casual sex most would not pay for SW or OF girls. YES THEY ARE BEING TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF. If the roles were reversed we wouldn't even ask this question. If a crackhead seeks crack do you think we can't blame the dealers who take advantage of them?…

Being friends with a woman before a romantic relationship seems good in theory but in real life it's one the worst advice society gives to men. Women rarely just fall in love with their friends the way men do. If she's interested romantically or anything it will be from day . Women rarely change the way they look at you. If she sees you as a friend, her friend you will be.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/23 11:04 AM

I think they might not necessarily be untrue it's just men and women tend to see things vastly differently on some subject. Like women who dress "provocatively" in summer really don't understand how little it takes for most men to get aroused. So a boyfriend who asks his gf to dress more will be seen as "controlling" by her. For him it's about not wanting every guy to lust after his gf. It's just that most of the time we see things vastly differently and approach situations fro different pov.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/23 01:07 AM
10

I think the truth is that women really have no empathy for men and that the protection and feelings of women is always more important than other things. They pathologize men for being horny and lacking control while praising (or at least seeing nothing wrong) with women who take advantage of these men. It's like they know who is getting the bad deal and still don't care about them cause they are males of "low" value.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/23 12:59 AM

Most guys expect to at least be able to get laid from time to time but for most of us it's just not even remotely possible , for women tho it's a whole other game , once guys realize that it can be hard to accept. Most of us learn about it the hard way, tho I believe younger men are more exposed to this fact.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/23 12:50 AM
2

I believe it's misunderstandings the vast majority of the time but some men will definitely lie.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/23 10:59 PM
5

Most men are below average when it comes to casual sex opportunities, if you believe in the 80/20 rule (I think it applies more to casual sex than LTR dating tho). Even if you might be objectively better looking than most men, women will say otherwise and it won't necessarily reflect in terms of hookup opportunities. The truth is that the vast majority of men don't ignite the spark women need in order to have casual sex or an ONS 🤷🏾‍♂️
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/23 10:55 PM

Yes most men should definitely begin to take care of their appearance, no need to put make up on but a skin care routine, regular haircuts and exercise can easily make you go from a 5 to a solid 6!
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/23 10:41 PM
4

Most dudes definitely think they will get lucky on dating apps at first and most dont (at least not consistently). The realisation that you might be "excluded" from hook-up culture is hard to swallow
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/23 10:30 PM
2

Might not be the most but it can be hard to swallow once a guy tells you that.l, but it depends on how long the situation has been going on for . From what I understand women don't wanna be seen like a sex object (Wich is totally fair), in these situations women are literally treated like a sex object by someone they like. It's one of the reasons why I believe people should be clear and transparent about what they want from day 1
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/23 10:25 PM
5

It doesn't guarantee an ltr but gives you more "opportunities" so in way it can multiply your changes to find a long-term relationship
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/23 10:19 PM

As a black men if play into that "Tyrone" stereotype you can get women pretty easily. No need to be a thug but at least change your apparence somewhat (hairstyle and jewelry), and having a careless attitude will definitely make more more girls gravitate towards you but as always your biggest ally is your genetics

Yup but I guess if Chad as a 10% or even 5% rate of success it's way enough. Now imagine 0 % idk how I'd feel For women the success rate is almost always way over that of men even Chad's.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/23 08:30 PM

Most men would say otherwise but both can be right tho In my humble opinion I believe that men tend to give way more at first and it "diminishes" as the settling down begins. When it comes to ltr I believe women tend to do more housework and childcare than men do but if you take out those variable i think it's pretty even. In the case of a couple living separately with no children i don't think women do more work. But if there's money missing men are usually expected to work way more but that's …

Both imply romantic rejection in the end but I guess if the rejection comes after sex it hurts way more.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/23 10:31 PM

That's accepting them sexually but not romantically wich imo is not so bad but it can make one feel used. We men will have sex with women just because she is available even if we have no real interest, that rarely happens in reverse. But is ONS and FWB same as romantic rejection idk I guess there's an overlap.

Fair enough But why is it acceptable for them th "broadcast" their preferences like height or income bracket etc? That kind of comments does hurt men but they are told to accept it
