So 99% of men, versus about 99% of women, because we were all serfs until very recently. I do not find your argument compelling.

Are you high or something? It's not like he humiliated her in public, he dumped her after it was clear she was a poisonous influence on his life.

Then you would support removing the provisions of Obamacare that say women can't pay more than men for health insurance, despite being significantly more costly to insure?

Why not both? Gay/bi/trans men are every bit the men you and I are.

Actually, due to the reliance on breathalyzer results (which are easily falsified by blocking the 'exhaust' with the officer's finger or thumb) and the enormous amount of money extracted from the accused, I think there's a case to be made that a number of 'borderline' DUIs aren't actually under the limit. That being said - don't fucking drink and drive.

I personally don't know any men who are rapists. Guess we can stop talking about it, then!

Rape-related humor is often (mostly, even) about male-on-male rape. We accept it (and laud it, in some circles), as part of our criminal 'justice' system.

And threatening to murder someone isn't? GTFO.

Are you kidding me? Women are sexual beings as well. Even if more men 'sexualize and objectify' women than vice versa, that's still not a good reason for not (at the very least) giving a men only hour for every women only hour.

On a related note, something like 90% of all workplace casualties are male.

The woman CAN throw up her hands, say 'do not want!', and then pay a technician to wet-vac her nethers. Men have absolutely no say in the matter (nor, frankly, should they or anyone be able to force a surgical procedure), and as such I don't think it's unreasonable for a man to abdicate the responsibilities and rights of parenthood.

There is pressure inherent in the system to hire the most qualified applicants. There are less women graduating with MBAs, etc. Why not work on helping children get a quality education? Discriminatory social engineering is inferior to equality of opportunity.

She didn't have legal custody of anything, the issue was 6'2, 200 pound male breadwinner vs. 90 pound druggie breadmaker. I was told that if I sought damages (back rent, debts owed), she'd tell the 5-0 I hit her. Writing the whole thing off was cheaper than a legal fight, and now I'm an MR activist.

I don't see how false imprisonment should result in a charge less than the time served. I'd like to see double for a case where the original complainant knew full well what they were doing, but this is a travesty.

I thoroughly agree that paternity tests should be done every single time. That being said, until that is the case I don't think it's ethical for the men to pay once they are 'replaced', especially when the child's biological father marries the mother. The entire unfortunate situation is created by one party's betrayal. If it takes ten years for someone to uncover the truth, then he is punished doubly - both financially and with years of his life spend nurturing someone else's young. If the mothe…

There is a good solution, as far as I'm concerned - the mother and whoever knocked her up pay for the child. Period. If a man is supposed to responsible for his offspring, then let's make it so. I agree that parental bonds can form between people who aren't related, but to force these responsibilities is akin to theft.

Really a heart-wrenching article, and some of the surest proof that there needs to be a men's rights movement. The assertion that courts are doing this to help children is nonsense - it helps the mother who has clearly proven through her infidelity and conspiracy that she never had the family's best interests at heart. These men should get their payments back, plus interest.

Johannes, I find myself in a similar situation. I was with a woman who was incredibly manipulative and deceitful, and when I finally came to my senses and told her to get the hell out of my apartment, she told the police (and anyone who would listen) that I had repeatedly abused her. No charges were ever filed and there was never a single iota of truth to her claims, but virtually no one, even my own family, believed me at first. I wasn't even -legally- fucked over, but that's the power that our…
