Widowers were literally part of the question.

ehh, can be true of sexually successful men obsessed with being "alpha males" as well. In my experience, they have no issues finding women to sleep with, but women don't really stay with them when they realize what they're like.

I certainly have.

You in college? I was lucky enough to be "popular" in college, and I attribute a lot of that success to smart no longer being a downside. If you're not in college you've kinda selected for women who don't care about that.

It's SOOO much less than a standard deviation. I can't think of 104 as truly high. It's significantly lower than the bachelors degree average. Sure hard work can make up for a lot, but loads of jobs would be rough with 104.

Doesn't tell you much about actually smart people though. 104 is so close to average.

I mean I'm still not seeing a place where they're promoting an unhealthy ideology, and that's kind of a prerequisite.

Well, TBP exists to make fun of TRP, so that's what we do, but I've never heard of TBP advocating for anything other than equality. I've met women with those problems. I've not at all been tempted to form a relationship. If there's a place where they try to spread a shitty ideology on the internet, I'll argue against that too.

I'm not sure I agree with league altogether. People have different social preferences, etc. There are a lot of factors to consider. As far as being hotter, or more socially adept, or higher energy, sure. I think you're just as likely to see outliers in any direction. It depends on preference. Show me a venue where women make similar complaints, and hold up as ideal a similarly unequal relationship dynamic to captain/first mate, we'd probably make fun of them just as much.

I'm fairly sure that in his ideal world hot girls should be getting with him.

No, according to TBP different people have different preferences. TBP is making fun of TRP. We got diversity.

Depends on the situation and circumstance. Much of this is manner and body language. Of course, now, the first sentence out of my mouth would include the phrase "my girlfriend".

If you're going to call something a must, it must be. Obviously, everyone should strive to continually improve themselves.

I'm aware that it's not very good, but it's the only well-known rough yardstick I'm aware of.

IDk, I haven't thought about this a lot. I'm just trying to think about the average everyday dating male. My BMI is just under 25 and I've done quite well. Is 27 so much worse? I'm not sure. Obviously there are other factors, but you should only call something a must if it is.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/15 01:47 AM

IDK. He's hypothetical, but I'd imagine that many of the dating men in the US are somewhere around that.

Fashion is a must? You need to look decent. You need to not look homeless. Other than that? Jeans and a t-shirt work just fine. Wear you. Fitness? Same thing goes. I think it carries a bigger bonus, and it makes life easier. You don't have to be muscular. Not even close.

I'd need, probably 3 million paid to spend a year in a cardboard box, and I'd only do one.

Pretty damn high. I'm not currently single, but when I was, I'll attribute a lot of this to not being a dick, and to the fact that most of the time, hooking up wasn't my goal. having a good time at the party or wherever was my goal, and hooking up was a pleasant bonus.

Always start with friendly conversation. I tend to assume, we're both (or all) here, we're all bored. Might as well entertain ourselves with some conversation. Depending on how they react you can go from there.

I mean, if you want to approach, approach. If they laugh or anything, at least act as if you pay it no mind. Rinse and repeat. inject yourself into social situations. Act like you don't give a fuck. Rinse, repeat. Always tell yourself how little it matters.

Act as if you've internalized the belief. When you get rejected, think reinforcing thoughts.

It's thought and action, based upon that thought. Reinforce it time and time again.

Is someone in your social group gonna laugh at you? That has a fair chance of slapping her in the face, metaphorically speaking. Who laughs a friend of friends outta town? She's gotta be willing to lose those friends. I mentioned a bar pick-up because that's the only place I can see that sort of thing happening.

I did it in highschool. Either just inure yourself to it, or think about what I mentioned every time it happens. You can totally think yourself out of it. i did. Red pill does it too, but reportedly they do it in a way I find..disgusting. Either way, you're just thinking your way out of it.

Nobody has to intercede for you. It is good to have people who will be there for you, but i see this as a related topic. Most people won't stand up for people who won't stand up for themselves though. I don't see what prevents you from just walking away if a random girl in a bar rejects you, and laughs about it anyways. My point of view would be that she's just proven that I'm a better person than she is, and she would have been a waste of my time. it's better that things worked out the way that…

Why give a shit what some randos say about you? Care about the opinions of the people that you care about.

The realization and internalization of the fact that this rejection doesn't really matter. The knowledge that all this connection does is harm you. The fact that just letting these things go makes life so much easier. This moment will matter not at all in the grand scheme of your life. maybe a 1% chance that it will if it goes well. you've got nothing to lose.

If you fear rejection, you're most likely not meeting them, or walking away unknowing. you're never going to get anywhere without putting yourself out there. Often. The reluctance to do this is I'm near 100% sure the reason why my friends that are Forever Alone are Forever Alone. Sure, they also lost a bit in the looks lottery, and they may not have the best interests for meeting women, but i know others in that boat who do just fine. Both groups are nice, great people. The main difference is th…

As long as you approach people respectfully, and open your conversation acceptably, things are fine. I've met women on trains, on airplanes, in the waiting room for the doctors office. I've also met them in the same study abroad program, and at parties. As long as you do things in the right way, no harm on you.

Rejection ain't bad. Again, stop focusing on trying to get with people who don't want to be with you, focus on the occasional girls who do.

Love is awesome. Rejecting it because you might get hurt is an outlook I may never completely understand. I've always stood firmly in the better to have loved and lost crowd.

I've always been rather outcome independent, and this probably helps, but I think that there are better ways to achieve a disconnect between rejection, self-esteem, and confidence than buying into misogynist BS. I mean people do what they want to do. I'm not necessarily more valuable than any one of them, but nothing except my actions has any say in my value. The DTF or Down To Date opinion of some rando especially says nothing. Relying on hate and indoctrination as a cheat code just strikes me …

Be who you want to be. Don't be a dick and try to improve yourself in every way that you can. Physical fitness is semi-important but you don't have to be built. Be nice, be friendly, find something that you can be super into. It's worked well for me so far.
