This too. I can't relate to OP's situation directly but plenty of people who switch religions/become more observant in their current one quit doing something that they did before. For me, I'm trying to quit eating non-kosher. The fact that someone once did something that hurt no one but themselves shouldn't be held against them, and it's deeply weird to be that nosy about someone's past.

No human changes in a way that makes them significantly different after having sex once vs before. People or their bodies are not "tainted" because they've had sex. Also, being celibate by choice isn't inherently a statement of values.

What? Are you expecting women to invent time travel just because you have an unhealthy obsession with their past?

I trust a tree with keeping secrets more than other people, but telling something to a tree is equivalent to telling it to no one.

Why not have everyone pay for what they got?

Are you just homophobic? Or is it racism?

There's a huge difference between porn marketed to cishet white men and porn marketed towards women and queer people. The "symbol of liberation" is the stuff in the second category.

Patriarchal sex culture has existed for millennia before photo and video were invented.

This is a small minority of people who watch porn, and they were likely drawn to porn by their obsessions instead of the other way around. I cannot deny the effect that media has on people's perception of reality, but weird people will always exist, with or without whatever specific societal ill you want to scapegoat.

Porn is just media, it doesn't "taint" anyone, and claiming it does is puritan sex negative bullshit. It can leave people with a false impression of sex but that can only be solved with more exposure to correct information, not less exposure to sex-related topics.

You're being misogynistic. Instead of refuting her main point, you claim that because you are utterly incapable of understanding anything outside of your sex negative world view, all women must be the problem.

Virginity is a social construct and the uterus doesn't change based on the amount of sex a person with a uterus has had.

As a gay dude I can tell you that looks really don't matter as long as you have a decent personality. There are people who get into relationships for looks but those don't last. This is why gay men date trans men; looks don't matter nearly as much as who you are as a person.

It's really racist and misogynist

Why do you think everyone values attractiveness (with your exact standards) over personality?

This! Also, banning makeup is downright stupid and authoritarian

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
