Have you tried saying to her, "Let me teach you how to do this"? Not saying it's your responsibility, but if no one has shown her or offered to teach her she may genuinely feel like, "I can't do this". Hell, my dad taught me to change oil and tires and then years later my husband taught me how to plunge a toilet. Some people just need a little nudge or knowledge. She's also 18. And whatever the gender 18 year olds often live in a special bubble.

Screw that. I'm a woman and I give up my seat for elderly men, children, pregnant women, elderly ladies, people carrying heavy shit. I'm 35, I'm healthy and I can easily stand for 15 or 20 minutes. If someone needs a break or a little help I'm glad to do it. Because it makes the world less shitty. Because (most of the time) if you do something kind for someone they will be moved to do something kind for someone else.

You do realize we aren't all one big hive mind right?

Have you LOOKED at a magazine rack lately? Or commercials? Or entertainment tv? Or billboards? Everybody is objectified.

And women across the globe are stoned, abused, trafficked, forced into marriages, denied education and so on... You can make it sound worse for anyone if you have an agenda. The fact is PEOPLE are suffering, male and female. And instead of trying to play a pity card for our gender we need to be addressing the issues facing BOTH genders. No one has it "worse". Both sides are losing atm, so let's focus on how we can help men AND women.

Both sides do it. Why don't we all just admit there are problems facing everyone and try to make things fair for all people instead of saying the issues that particularly effect us are the worst?

You would be wrong. Search my username for my post on the "cat-calling video".

And girls are taught their job is to be pretty and find a man. Nobody has it "worse". Let's just agree that PEOPLE, whatever their gender, should be taught to be respectful and kind.

Who decides what clothing is wrong or right? We aren't talking about theft or murder here. There is a lot more ambiguity to clothing and what is appropriate.

For raping a 7 year old to the point that she required multiple surgeries and has to wear a colostomy bag for the rest of her life? He also abducted her. It wasn't just for rape, but kidnapping, assault etc.

If I'm remembering the right case he was already paroled. Of course, you can also buy off victims or their families so...

Sadly, this still applies in South Korea where I live. A case in point: "A seven-year-old girl was violently raped in suburban Seoul by a man named Cho Doo-soon in December 2008. The victim’s internal organs were seriously damaged and she had to undergo several major surgeries. A prosecutor sought life imprisonment, but the court ruled that the man was too drunk to know what he was doing and sentenced him to 12 years in prison, a term that the public considered too lenient." http://www.rjkoehler…

Why is she a hateful bitch? Perhaps she is just ignorant. It is possible that rather than being a man-hater she is simply ignorant, like many people. I agree with a lot of the issues discussed on men's rights, but consistently referring to women as hateful bitches, nasty feminists etc. is not helping your case.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
