All three use outdated nomenclature, one doesn’t look like it was it was peer reviewed or possibly even published in a journal— confounding considering that PLOS One will take nearly anyone. The second article is studying parental attitudes not the actual effects of hormone blockers. The first article is about issues with an individual study. The third doesn’t cite anything after 1995 again relying on Zucker a student of Blanchard whose theories are widely dismissed as unfalsifiable. Zucker’s af…

There is nothing incidental about the premise that citation sets up. The man was kicked off the DSM 5 task force for gender and sexuality (paraphilia) related disorders for advocating conversion therapy. It is used to claim that the recent rise in the number of people identifying as trans is “not due to mere acceptance.”

Also your article even differentiates between the two in a significant way. Nonconformity can’t be equated with dysphoria People who are gender-nonconforming can also experience gender dysphoria. Gender-nonconformity is also not a condition; it is a gender expression that does not fit the norms and stereotypical behaviors of a person’s assigned gender.

Puberty blockers. They have an article citing the guy who got kicked off a DSM 5 task force for performing conversion therapy about how puberty blockers are dangerous— so you know they’re right!

Uncommon is the understatement of the year. It’s 1% of a group that only makes up about 1-3% of the population That kid should have been evaluated for gender dysphoria immediately. Psychologists do a battery of tests, other conditions should and could have been ruled out more quickly. What you’re describing is so incompetent it borders on malfeasance. No one has ever demonstrated a decrease in the number of tomboys or femboys associated with a rise in transgender people. That would go against WP…

With all the vitriol behind opposition to SRS (which isn’t preformed on children) I’m forced to assume your hatred for tattoos borders on pathological

Children grow out of gender not conforming behavior in most cases, not gender dysphoria. Scientific discussion considers epigenetic cultural and behavioral factors not that you would know or understand that
