It's not even about odds, the author OP quoted said it would work 8 times out of 10. I just think this is a terrible approach to meeting anyone in general. Be kind. Be a gentleman. Take that approach and the girls worth noticing will notice you.

Maybe it is just me but my mother is quite strict making it hard to compare her to any other woman. I have found that it makes no difference, as I can be very outgoing, and easy to get along with.
