Stay after = stay late, or similar. As in the sentence "My boss asked me to stay late".

People are talking about the wage gap, what do people think about the statistics quoted in the article? Are they reliable?

I read the addresses and my heart lifted, assuming that they would be essentially the same thing with the genders reversed. sigh

I agree. It seems like it is taboo to talk about the differences between the sexes in this area. It's simple: Men want sex more than women do. On average, of course. Here's an up-to-date and well referenced literature review on the subject: http://carlsonschool.umn.edu/Assets/71520.pdf

This kind of sniping at other groups does nothing to further the cause of greater equality for everyone.

You really hope that a vigilante murderer gets off scot-free?

Do you have a link to this study? I'm curious.

Possibly the worst troll I've seen on mens rights....

The conclusion of the paper seems to disagree with the article: Indeed, teachers are more lenient with students of their own gender. Male students’ choices are in line with the fact that male teachers give them lower grades, but female students’ choices are not consistent with male teachers’ grading practic

It's worth noting the end is in a big conditional. If women and mens roles around the house become the same, then the apparent wage gap in unadjusted figures will close.

Very interesting reading. How do you think this data should be acted upon, if at all?

Wouldn't it be really easy for a fetility clinic to require the man to come too? If you do this then it would be impossible for anything like this to happen in a clinic. What's stopping this?

Do you really think women are inherently selfish? You say this is a fact, what evidence is there for this 'fact'?

Shocking comment when applied to anyone. "They did this, therefore they deserve genital mutilation as a punishment".

Keep posting a good, positive message for equality. Downvote trolls. Downvote misogyny. Upvote cases of discrimination, and how to improve them.

This is pretty clear trolling. Inconsistencies in the story (charged/convicted), not remembering the name of the group that made him lose his job and then full troll comments like this: I don't want to comment too harshly on a situation I don't know much about, but I see why there could be some doubt. It's hard to imagine a husband "raping" his wife.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
