You're right, I didn't even realize that. Per year in the US, 450 children are murdered by a parent each year, while there are 433,648 sexual assaults each year. That should clear it up. Well I'm pretty sure these statistics count for the US only, which I should have specified. Of course they won't be incredibly accurate, as only about 8% of sexual assaults against women actually get reported, and even less for assaults against men. But the thing is, I don't think if men were raped by a woman they'd be any less likely to go to court than if they were raped by a man. Majority of sexual assaults against men are commited by men, as are for women.

The thing is rape is so much more common than infanticide. Rape happens everyday, and 1 in 6 women and girls and 1 in 12 men and boys have suffered from rape or attempted rape. Obviously infanticide is horrible, but it is not NEARLY as common or normalized as is sexual assault.

Then do something to help. The stereotypes of men being "bad" are from the very few men who are. If you want to stop being generalized, do something to stop the stereotypes. Take action to stop sexual harassment against women. It's no secret that men are the majority of the culprits, and as a man you have the power to influence your male friends, family, etc and educate them. Complaining about this won't help, try actually doing something about it.
