When a man is called a cunt or a bitch or any female based insult it's particularly insulting because it additionally calls them feminine or female-like which calls their masculinity into question. Of course.. I should have known I couldn't call out sexism on r/mensrights. maybe i should go to r/equality where people actually care about equal rights.

of course we form groups.. but if someone says they're not a racist but they think we should be able to own blacks.. they're a racist. a person who isn't actually for the equal rights of blacks, whites, or any other race can say they're a civil rights activist but i certainly wouldn't call them such. definitions still count for something.

well, not being a feminist likely means you're not for the equal rights of women though i wouldn't say a non feminist hated women. if you're for women being equal- then you are, by definition, a feminist.

no.. it's not about misogyny.. i didn't say that it was.. i said that hiding your misogyny behind men's rights is cowardly. (just like the author hiding her bigotry towards men behind feminism is cowardly). I do read the posts here.. so does my husband (he's decided to stop though as he doesn't much like the tone). I'm completely for men's rights.. that's not what I'm talking about.. i'm talking about you in particular.

you being a smartass doesn't make you look clever. I said everyone that I personally know- not every feminist in the world.. although the very definition of femisnim is fighting for equality... so if a woman is fighting for superiority she automatically doesn't fit into the definition of a feminist.

considering there are, by far, more heterosexual couples who engage in anal sex than there are gay couples who engage in anal sex, it's not even heterosexist. And hey- fucking an asshole isn't quite the same as being an asshole.

ha- well feminism is about equal rights... so if a woman claim to be a feminist but isn't for equality but rather the superiority of women over men- then that's not what a feminist is.

I'm fairly sure female prisoners are handcuffed during hospital visits as well even for rape. I suppose it's a precaution against escape.. but we tend to not treat our criminals like human beings. You're absolutely right.. ever survivor of rape deserves respect.

This is... truly disgusting. I couldn't believe anyone would write such a thing and was even more horrified to read the comments- as a feminist this article infuriates me and I'm so glad there are other feminists out there- real feminists- defending men's rights as well as women's rights. People like the author of this don't want equality.. they want superiority (as my husband rightly put it). Really.. there are simply no words to describe my horror and disgust at this post... every rape victim …
