Having a Girlfriend is such a prestigious thing for young guys, that many will drop their standards just to aquire one. After learning about MGTOW, I realized that I didn't have to do the same. Thanks for the nice comment.

Who knows. Perhaps I'll become an alcoholic one day. As far as teenagers go, (in my own experience) it's usually combined with poor judgement. For some reason, I usually assume adults have a legitimate reason to drink, that doesn't involve trying to be "edgy" or "rebellious." Maybe my Rose colored glasses are still on, to a degree.

To be clear, I was raised as a Christian and are located in the US. My separation from the church started with politics, and has caused me to lose trust the doctrine of the church. I would currently describe myself as a deist.

I disagree that social anxiety is caused by a "desperate need for attention." Making friends is in our nature, it allowed us to create tribes and survive for millennia. Devil's advocate here. While it's true that we live in a female oriented society, you cannot ignore the power of the religious right. Quite a few social conservatives view legalization of prostitution as a "breakdown" of family values. This is why more conservative states will usually have more strict anti-prostitution laws.

I'm going to play devil's advocate here. Perhaps women choose to work in HR because it involves more one-on-one communication than..... let's say accounting. In my experience, women believe that they are great at talking and relating to other people. I don't know if I've come across this personally. Regardless, I think you've answered your own question. Single Mothers are looking for a financially stable man to take care of them so they can quit their job. Gay men aren't interested in these women, so they have no value. Nothing can be gained by caring about them.

While I am not an expert, I do have some thoughts on this topic. I've always thought of MRA as a correction to legal and social injustice. Sort of like the Civil Rights movement. MGTOW seems to be more about the individual, men in this case, watching out or avoiding dangers. More of a philosophy or way of life rather than a movement.
