I edited my last comment to add a note, take a look at that. It's good you're taking protective actions, but you could disengage from him completely (block/delete) and not have to think about taking protective actions at all. Stay safe sis.

Yes absolutely, if they're not there for us, how can we rely on them in other situations? My dad never stood up for my mom when other relatives were saying shit about her, even in front of me. Just in case- my last comment was saying how tf did he not respond to them, not saying you didn't respond.

Oofff that's terrible, I'm so sorry. What a dick. How do you (well, he) just not respond to that? I'd be livid.

Ehhh I get why that's funny on some level, but I'd be 1) bored (I have better hobbies to pursue) and 2) creeped out. He could be collecting little bits of info about your life, location etc from things you don't realize you're showing in your photos, to then stalk or harass you. As someone who had a crazy or two stalk me after I "goofed around" or "wanted to see where things went" instead of blocking and deleting at the first sign of stupidity/bizarreness... trust me, it's not fun. Imagine if every married man who had children with his wife and made her SAH legally had to pay her that kind of base salary? 🤔

As someone who was in that situation briefly, I'd bet on this. He's probably porn addicted to angry and violent content, hasn't had sex with his wife in years yet also hasn't tried to make her cum in all that time... and blames his wife for being "trapped" in the situation he created.

Omg, food cop. My father was like this. Criticized so many random things about the way I ate, that for years I had very intense anxiety about eating in front of people. I've thankfully never had this happen much in dating, but it'd be an immediate cease and desist, drop the guillotine moment if it did.

An ex once told me, "I didn't know it hurt you that much!" After talking about that moment with a therapist, she astutely observed: "Oh, so he did know it hurt you?" Mind. Blown. 🤯 Up until that moment I'd been blaming myself for not making it even more obvious that what he did upset me. Her comment made me realize, he knew, he just didn't care.

As a fellow gamer lady.... I've told this story elsewhere, but one time while playing one of my favorite games, my narcissist NVX went off on a diatribe about how he just doesn't understand why anyone likes the type of game it was, how it just seems like a waste of time, and why the games he liked to play were superior. I wish I was kidding lmao. When I asked him to maybe not diss the game I was clearly enjoying, his predictable (but shocking to me at the time) response was, "Well maybe you shou…

It's awesome you don't have to deal with him any more! For any lurkers, I'll share a tip I learned and have successfully used in meetings (without being called aggressive lmao.) We have one guy who interrupts a lot (and to be fair, it helps that everyone is aware of and annoyed by this lol.) But any time he interrupts me, I just wait a moment after he's finished to create an awkward pause - and then I go right back to what I was saying before, no acknowledging what he said. This is me too. Found the childfree lifestyle, and stuck by that for two years while dating LVM until I met my (most likely) HVM bf. Now that I see what it's like being with a man who actually takes care of me, takes care of himself and owns his shit, I could imagine having kids with him (or a HVM in general) and it not being the total suck-fest too many women experience. He's a Scrote's Scrote. No wonder they worship him. Grimes is high visibility proof that you can give a scrote a baby and even then he'll still nickle and dime, 50/50 you. I would recommended leaving a Glassdoor review of the interviewing process some time later. You could be doing a solid for future candidates who, like you, were previously enchanted by this company. Also, that really sucks and I'm sorry that had to happen. Life has a way of playing really unfunny jokes like this :/ Good on you for sticking to your guns though! Oh no, that's awful :( The pressure on women to be married otherwise they're "worthless" is just another trap to get us to lower our standards and gaslight ourselves so some scrote can "score." Have you spoken with her, generally speaking, before? Just be aware she may be highly resistant. I definitely didn't understand FDS at first due to what I now know was libfem brainwashing.

Exactly this. "Why are you crying?? Cut it out, you're making me upset! Just because I yelled at you doesn't mean you can freak out like that in response. You know I'm not a bad guy, what the fuck are you crying for?!" yelled the NVM, with a menacing gaze you're also not allowed to point out because you're either "imagining it" or you caused him to look at you menacingly, obviously.

One of my worst exes (in terms of horrible behavior) was also one of the highest earning. That was a tough but very necessary pill to swallow - that a man being a high earner really, truly, does not mean he is a worthy, HV or even just smart human being. That boy was probably the biggest 50/50ing man baby of them all.

Well, I once read this incredible comment elsewhere on reddit... Someone was asking "How do I stop narcissistic and abusive people from coming into my life? Normally I'd advise the same thing, but we both don't want to break up. He is fine waiting several years before having kids (he has other goals he wants to accomplish first, as do I), and he knows I do not want kids (I was clear about this before we started dating and reiterate it often), but I am open to considering them if he turns out to be a HVM and meets my (very, very high) requirements for having them. I don't want kids. My current bf thinks he might. I'm making sure he knows everything I expect he'll pay for if we do have them: a tummy tuck and any other plastic surgery for me afterwards, daycare, a nanny on call or live-in, private education and college, and more. Me and my hypothetical kids are only going to be given the best on his dime, or it's not happening at all. This right here. These are the only two options as far as I'm concerned. Well, that, and abortion (and dumping his ass if he doesn't pay for it.)

That was some queen level conflict resolution, and I aspire to be better in my online interactions like this (when the desire to get snippy arises, haha!)

Would you be willing to share (with the class, lol!) what "oh" exactly meant? How did that change play out? And are you married to him and have kids now?

Maybe more like "I wanted a kid and you were willing to donate your body to make that happen, so that's cool. But idk if youre my DrEaM GiRL soooo like.... just be chill, mkay?"

I think it needs to merge into something like, if you ARE going to get married, you better do everything in your power to make sure it's in your favor / doesn't damage you. Though I'm honestly not even sure how possible that is in society/legally right now? I've been anti-marriage for so long, so I'm out of the loop haha. But I think we need to look beyond "getting the ring" and start laying out a guide/handbook for making marriage work for us.

I honestly completely unironically believe that if the legal age was set to, idk, 12 or something, men would 100% be out there dating ("dating") these children and justifying it as their right to do so. Barf. The fact that we need to actually set laws to protect women and children against men rather than trusting men to just... not... says so much.

Well, if we wanna spill unfiltered preferences, let's start with dat dick lmao. I have experienced all kinds (what can I say, it was a combo of high libido/FOMO/toxic cultural narratives that made me feel like I wasn't a sexy woman if I wasn't having lots of sex... yes, I'm a newbie here, why do you ask? /s) ANYWAY lol, out of all the dicks ever, above average in length (but not ridiculously so) and thick are the best. The extra thickness is what really fills me up better than anything. But it n…

Well, until we moved in together and I was just visiting occasionally (but the dead bedroom already began then), I assumed he was jerking off. He claimed it wasn't that often. I didn't particularly care about that then (I only recently discovered FDS), I was concerned with the dead bedroom (and thinking it was somehow my fault.) After I moved in, I was home more often than him. Like pretty much all the time thanks to the pandemic. And it was rare that he was home alone... so I genuinely didn't t…

Yessss, in retrospect I see all the signs of my ex being a narcissist. I learned the term "benevolent narcissist" recently, i.e. one who likes to act super nice and helpful to others and makes a big deal of saying how much of a good guy he is. And then treats his loved ones like a classic narcissist in private. Fits my ex to a T! So sorry you had to deal with that, but amazing job on getting out and finding your way here 💪 Did you find FDS before or after you left?

lmao I love your username!! I honestly have no idea. What he told me was that his antidepression meds killed his sex drive (and he failed to disclose that that had been a problem in previous relationships and led to breakups), and that he wasn't even masturbating. I was living with him, and I was in the house more often than he was, so I figured it was true based on what I saw. But what was actually happening? Considering how much he was gaslighting and lying and manipulating me in other ways (i…

What if you're a woman posting on deadbedrooms? i.e. the one in the relationship who wants sex, and your male partner is refusing it? I found it to be a special kind of hell where you as the woman are the one who wants it, and your LVM/NVM knows that and uses it against you by denying you sex. Nobody believes you because of the cultural narratives that men always want sex and women never do, which leads to thoughts like, "Well if he doesn't want it, it must be your fault obviously!" No, he's jus…

Ohhhh I see, I didn't know about SoS (lol!) and the relationship to HM. Neat, thanks for explaining that! Have you ever tried My Time at Portia? It's an indie game too so it has a lot of rough edges lol, but it's still very very cute. It's the only game in this kind of "farming" genre I've played so far.

Yeahhhhh it really killed it for me too lol, and I never got to pick it up. It's really amazing how the author just... didn't touch on that (what you said) at all. Really makes you wonder. What is Story of Seasons on? I don't think I've heard of that before!

For the ladies among us who like video games: Stardew Valley. I was reading a book that goes into the story of how the (male) creator made this game over many years... a very well beloved game. Except for the cringe I experienced reading that he lived, while unemployed, with his gf who was employed for years while he worked on his game. He only started working at a movie theater or something, part time possibly, when "their" money got too tight. He even talks about feeling burnout from the proje…

THIS. I take pride in being a skilled, talented and giving sex partner... oh wait sorry, my experience makes me a whore? I'm a used car you don't want? Mkay I guess, I'll save my high libido and skills for a HVM whose ego isn't so frail 💅 Or for jerking myself off alone tbh, because I've rarely met any men who match up to me.

Trueeee. My experiences have shown me that a lot of men have girlfriends just to fill a girlfriend-shaped hole in their lives, and don't really care much for her particular traits. I remember asking one ex (because I had a feeling he was doing the former), "Why do you like me? I mean me, specifically?" He said, "Umm....because you're my girlfriend!" 😒

They don't feel shame because they don't feel sorry. They feel the same way about their violent emotional outbursts that you might feel about sneezing too loudly; "oops." And they move on.

Yes, teachers are absolutely fucked in this country (and, tin foil hat, I think it's by the design of some people trying to destroy our educational system... ) I noticed growing up that genuinely happy teachers are very rare, and as an adult when the reality of earning a living hit me... I too chose not to go down that path. I think the only reason we have anyone still choosing to become teachers nowadays is because of a very naive optimism :/

Here's a nice gross spin on this: My dad didn't allow me to go to sleepovers for a long time until I kept pushing mom to stand up to him and make him change his mind because it would've just been with my female friends. Come to find out as I got older, from hearing my dad tell on himself, he was concerned what my female friend's brother could've done (even though the brother slept in his own room/wasn't part of the sleepover)... because of what my dad knew he himself would've been tempted to do …

This ^ There's a difference between a scrote who absolutely refuses to go out into daylight and exercise EVER vs. a guy who may be too busy/focused on other goals to be a gym rat but would happily go on a walk himself/with me, hits the gym occasionally (covid has made this legit hard for many people) and at least showers, grooms himself and dresses well even if he's not ripped.

Honestly, one of the deciding factors for me being childfree was realizing that even if I had all the money to have kids and raise them well, I'd rather spend it on something more fulfilling 🤷‍♀️ Marriage also just seems like a way to make breaking up 50,000x harder for no good reason.
