We live and we learn. I’ve been there too. But I don’t fully agree with the sentiment of this post. I think it’s inevitable to show emotions, especially within a long term connection or when a person is pulling the rug under our feet. I’d rather show my emotions to an unworthy person and then leave, than let my emotions consume me from the inside. I don’t buy into the stoic or “classy” thing. I agree. Trusting our instincts = trusting our bodies. When you treat your body well, you respect it = you trust it. Eat clean —> your actions affirm that you love your body —> you trust your gut.
