Red I wouldn't call myself an alpha. Sigma makes sense in my own mind, but I can't quite quantify if that's just my ego stroking itself I've never heard of MBTI, but I took a "test" and got INTJ

Let me break it down for you: It would almost impossible to gain evidence of perjury in this case, because the behaviour that would justify divorce would occur naturally in an unhealthy/unhappy relationship. The slighted partner would have to, by some miracle, gain concrete evidence that the behaviour was part of a scheme to dissolve the relationship. If anybody could go about accusing their partner of perjury for relationship-dissolving behaviour, then it would open up avenues for somebody who …

Please elaborate. You are suggesting that couples will be able to peek into the future and determine the reasons for why they would get a divorce, and how they will react in kind? The smart ones would That couples in the throes of the "we'll be together forever!" engagement period will be able to make logical decisions in regards to how they will handle divorce caused by general discontent? The smart ones will Ether way, these contingencies could be optional, so you could have them only if you w…

then why are you suggesting that a penalty be imposed on those who cause a divorce? ... Amicable divorce happens, but oftentimes one party is reluctant to agree to the divorce for whatever reason. These situations would ironed out in pre-marital negotiation... And yes, perjury is a thing, but creating the conditions for the other party to create a situation that allows for divorce to occur without penalty, or doing something that would cause the other party to divorce with good reason, would be …

Now you know how men feel. If you frivolously divorce someone, you don't deserve anything they own or made

Lol, really? You think it's healthier to stew in a shitty relationship than it is to perpetuate the unhappiness through staying together? There is something called amicable divorce Not to mention that somebody is trapped in a shitty relationship by virtue of some crippling penalty will find a way to make their spouse do something that will give the unhappy person reason to break it off, or do something emotionally damaging to their spouse so that the spouse will break it off. Should you be able …

My gut instinct is that men are more likely to end up getting caught and divorced over cheating, so if you are pissed about men losing money in divorce now I have no sympathy for people who cheat on their partners, male or female I see no benefit to it over a regular LTR I do, which is why I wish it wasn't such a legally raw deal for men, but of course its up to individuals to decide if they wish to marry

This wouldn't be a problem if you married someone who is not useless, expensive, or finicky, and enjoys frequent sex. It's not like that's incredibly rare. Let's not pretend women don't suddenly start to change after they get married

I imagine you already know this, but the whole argument is that the wife is forgoing her career to be a stay at home mother. And the husband is forgoing the time that he could be spending with his children to financially support the family. Ultimately being a SAHM is a privilege I agree, but you can't really enforce it like a breach of contract if by default assets are split 50/50. You edit the contract by adding a contingency for the presence marital misconduct... If divorces automatically spli…

A man is married to a woman A man makes 250k a year and has a net worth of 3.5 million His wife is a stay at home mother The wife does not have any income The wife gets bored and cheats on her husband The man decides he should divorce his wife due to infidelity The wife gets the house along with a share of the man's net worth in divorce The wife gets majority custody of the children The man pays child support and temporary spousal support to his ex-wife I see no good reason why they shouldn't be…

People who cause a divorce (infidelity, substance abuse, emotional/sexual neglect, etc) or file for a divorce without a good reason (not being haaaahhhppyyy) shouldn't get more then 20 percent of assets, they shouldn't get majority custody of children, nor should they get any sort of spousal support Should you be able to divorce without a good reason? Yes. Should you be remotely rewarded by the government for it? No. If you hold up your part of the deal, you shouldn't get fucked during divorce

Is it really though? Things said on trp are explaining life so wouldn't witnessing what trp already claims make it much easier to accept? ... That is not how humans work. Period. So beta men aren't more logical? No, they are just as capable at accessing situations without letting emotions cloud their judgement and effecting their actions. However, they are naive to the point they have not drawn conclusions and connected the dots. They basically lack the information to make the "logical" connecti…

It's rational to be angry when you find out you've been lied to your whole life and up to this point you've been doing a lot of things wrong, its also rational to be relieved and grateful that you've figured it out. Indeed. But wouldn't all men exposed to trp see it's truth since it's logical and men are logical? That is why they are called betas
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/15 07:18 AM
3

So wouldn't there be clarity and joy at understanding what was wrong, as opposed to anger? There is both Once again, not what I'm claiming at all. My question is, wouldn't they just accept it since it's logical and men are logical? If you've been told to believe X even though it never made no sense and then one day you find someone who explains that it's actually Y, why would there be anger, especially from what trp claims is the more rational sex? They do accept it and they are angry, its part …

I'm saying trp claims that men process situations based on rationality more often than women do This would be a better representation of the viewpoint The Red-Pill is often hyperbolic because it can remove the "bargaining" and "doubt" that goes on when one's beliefs are challenge, it doesn't leave much room for a way out. So following that logic, even if their world view is being crushed, wouldn't men who read trp see it as making perfect sense? Yes, the fact that it makes sense is the soul-crus…

You're the one who compared affection to carbohydrates and H20 in the first place. I'm just following the logic of the analogy. If affection is bread and water and sex is a steak dinner and you feel entitled to that steak dinner, then you also feel entitled to sex. It works well enough in the context. Incorrect I was illustrating the purposeless of unnecessarily forgoing things you really like when they are readily accessible. Not how I feel "entitled" to things

If men aren't as easily scared as women then why do they get scared when a criminal puts a gun to their head and says they are going to kill them???? You are extrapolating a situation in which people are having their worldviews crushed, of course they are going to grieve to some point. The fact they are accepting the idea that what they believed was largely incorrect and that things aren't how they thought they were is saying alot If you want to argue that men are just as emotional as women you'…

Women want to be with men that a better than them, not on their level, but better than them. Women then, with their lack of self awareness, over value themselves with the reasoning of what education they have, what status they have, and what they think about themselves or what betas tell them... Meanwhile wealthy, educated, and "successful" men don't care about those things in a partner. Basically the post is pointing out indirectly how women are qualifying themselves to successful men on false …

No. If I had it my way all women would be with a man they respected and admired, and all men would be with a woman they could love and cherish. But of course I'm not naive enough to believe that could ever be a possibility, so I compartmentalize my sadness and deep empathy for the broken people in the world and see the world through my clearest goggles. And the natural progression of tragedy is humor. So here we are

Lolwat I agree If women are indeed children, then they should get lighter prison sentences. They also shouldn't be able to vote, own property, drive, they should also always be accompanied by a male (family member or spouse), they shouldn't be able to serve in the military, take any form of public office, they shouldn't be admitted to colleges/universities, they shouldn't hold leadership positions in the church, and they shouldn't be able to spend money without consent.
