I have been actively talking to men on OLD sites and while searching the web, I stumbled across a site called rawconfessions. I cant unsee what I saw and I can't look at any man the same again. I started crying and figuring out if anyone can trace those posts but I guess the FBI has been watching the site.. it still doesn't help me.. I feel like every man has that sinister side to them and I just can't shake that feeling from myself. I don't know what to do to make it go away.

Yep. Met someone I clicked with right away, he was awesome, we felt this deep connection and had 3 weeks of being eachothers best friend before something just felt off. I tried to talk to him about what was up, he ignored my texts and so I sat and took a hard look at all of our interactions then sent him a text telling him it was nice meeting him but that I wasn't interested anymore. The old me would have waited for his reply and his excuse, the FDS me took control. This was just yesterday and I…

Hes dropped 🙌🙌 I stopped talking to him for two weeks straight, and then finally sent the break up text. He says you haven't seen me in so long, you just forgot how I make you feel! What about our plans together? Our future together! We dated just shy of four months.. I didn't even feel bad or sorry for him! He really just wasn't my type of guy at all. I think he was just convenient and with covid- having a companion was nice. Until it really started to just get annoying. He called me and asked …

Im so glad that I was able to help. Another thing that I did when it came to the funeral, was write a letter to the old me. I saw her as a dear friend, instead of myself, and wrote to her like a loving big sister would write to her troubled baby sis. I sobbed while writing it, truly grieving for her then burned it as part of my ceremony. Like that was the way to get the letter to her, because she became ashes as the new me emerged. I saw myself in the way of the mythical Phoenix, burning, but th…

Oh goodness, I've been there. There are things I'm repulsed by that I let happen. I refer to that phase of mine as a totally different person and that girl . I see it as the old me, the naive me, and the me that didn't know alot but knows a helluvalot more because of those experiences. I even had a little funeral for her, because I knew I never ever wanted to be her again. I grieve for her, and feel so sorry that she went through those things, and know that she was just very sad, insecure and tr…

I reccomend a capsule wardrobe- tanks and cardigans, and even something light but a wool blend. I've created a capsule wardrobe with alot from Everlane, which is quality basic business casual. Also try to meditate if you're open to it or haven't done it. There are alot of guided ones these days, instead of the typical sitting crossed legged and hom. It can really help you just keep in the moment and to just accept that preparing for uncertainty is the best thing to do. Alot easier said than done…

I became a mother. Its almost like it cleared away the haze and made me realize what potential I had. My child's father was someone I was with for years, and he indulged in the lifestyle too. I didn't want to be that family. So now, I'm a single mama and leveling up to create a good life for myself and my little one.

I used to smoke pot. Now I am 100% sober and don't want to be around people who smoke or drink, even when I really indulged in the smoking lifestyle. Those who I considered my best friends still smoke pot and live life just by the day. I miss our time together, but I just can't be friends with people like that anymore.

I feel this so much. I changed my lifestyle and my previous friends still live the old lifestyle that im trying to get away from. I've been friends with them for a decade, we were incredibly close, and now I literally have one friend and my sister. Neither of which I ever see. Friend is an RN working with Covid patients and my sister is a state away. This is the only place where I see women with a similar mindset. Trying to find a friend, let alone a friend who wants to better themselves for the…

Oh believe me, it's not something I'm wanting to brag about. I'm pretty average when it comes to my physical appearance and I didn't use recent a recent picture or a real flattering one on purpose. It's stupidly obvious that they will swipe for anything. I have no idea how to meet anyone since I work with mainly women and basically just stick to the same routine. I don't drink so I don't go out to bars so meeting someone in the typical way seems impossible. I'm just going to delete the app and k…

I stopped going on FDS for a while and now I'm back on for that very reason. I'm taking your advice to heart and will re read the handbook and have already stopped answering his calls and texts, will be breaking it off for good in the next few days. I'm focusing on myself this weekend and reading FDS to get the right mindset before I drop and block. I have to be confident and not feel any emotional attachment to his feelings. That's what I realized is the hardest part- not feeling bad about maki…

And it's really I would do anything for you, but only if it's convenient for me. The guy I'm with, says it alot. Says how much he's into me and that I possess the qualities he wants in someone he could be with long term I'd do anything for you. When I asked him to pick up a specific conditioner for me from a salon that is a few miles from his work, he asked if he could just order it for me instead. When I asked if he could pick me up dinner because I had my 2nd covid shot, and felt like absolute…

I've been dating someone for 4 months.i thought this one was a bit more on my level mentally and emotionally. Nope. It's almost crazy how quickly some men want to invade our lives but not so much in ways that benefit us. I need a life assistant. I turn into one when I'm with someone, but I legitimately could benefit from having that type of person in my own life. Why do we have the instincts to become that and men don't? Why do they not want to help us, when they say they would do anything for u…

I applied this type of living to my life and while it has been amazing, I still feel this void I need to fill. Maybe it's the fact that there's always a rain cloud of covid hovering above and im not accepting the way things are as well as i thought. Anywhoo, got myself better hygiene prouducts, better skincare products, sateen sheets, a silk pillow case, new clothes made of cotton that will last longer and feel better on my skin. Call your parents, admit they were right and apologize for not listening to them. See if they can help you get a divorce and out of this mess. Really try your hardest to mend the relationship with them, because right now, you need family more than anything. He manipulated you and you didn't know that it would happen to you. This is important. I too thought I was in love with a guy I wasn't even attracted to. My body was telling me no so much but I saw it as butterflies. I'm in the current situation where I'm dating someone, and its been about two months. And their validation doesn't make you pretty, or beautiful. You are those things without them telling you that. Whenever I'm feeling insecure, I have my sister hype me up. She goes all out with the compliments, its so funny and amazing and we just laugh afterwords but it really makes a difference. Text one of your girlfriends and ask them to hype you up when you're feeling low about your appearance, when it really doesn't sound like you have much to feel low about- but, you still want that valid…

I wish FDS would have been a thing when I was a teenager. I'm so happy to see young women on here! Learn vicariously through our experiences, read the handbook, live by the handbook and you'll do amazing things. The way you handled prom was great. My ex is trying to get all of our friends on his side. Tells me at every chance he can that they all think im crazy and a horrible person for leaving him the way I did. He was an alcoholic, who turned controlling and we had a 3 month old. My son is now 8 months, we are happy af. I could careless what people think of the situation, im just glad im out. If they believe his lies, then they arnt people I want to be around.

I wasn't sure if it was my big split hat made me hate every breakup love song by male artists. I hear it and instantly think of the ex listening to those words, rolling her eyes in embarrassment and telling her friends how much of a dick he was. I realize now, im probably right.

Yup. Once I was on maternity leave and my ex was the one working, he changed completely. He was an alcoholic, but was never incredibly controlling until he could use money against me. It was so fucked up. He thought that he could do and say anything because I relied on him and either way I had to deal with it. Now, im the one who broke our family up. Men are repulsive. I thought he was raised better than that. NOPE.

For me, it's no excuse, unless they are actively trying to manage it. Ive been on medication, sought out therapy, different types of therapy, started meditation/yoga and self help books/books on mental illnesses to try to also understand it. Seek out a psychologist. I was diagnosed at 24. I went to a psychologist for my anxiety and she asked if I had ever been diagnosed with ADD explaining that it causes anxiety. We did the test, and sure enough I had innatentive ADD . I never finished my degree because of my struggle with it and anxiety at the time. I have lashed out. Alot. My mother and I are such calm and nice people but we react aggressively at times. Ive done alot to become more self aware, while she still struggles. It was horrible with my last relationship. I have realized some people bring it out in me, and I have a hard time controlling it when im pushed to my mental limit. Since I've been alone, im the most calm I've ever been. Funny how that works.

Oh hun hugs this was me, too. Fighting over a cigarette was the last straw for me. I had quit once I found out I was pregnant and I went to grab one out of his pack when things were so stressful and I caved. He was drinking heavily all the time, and this was a new thing for him that started within the last year or so.. and we had a 3 month old. I'm single and loving it. It's so much easier to take care of my son by myself, than it was to take care of both and deal with a grown man's childis behavior. From my experience, we want to show them that we can be a wives before we are, especially if we met them young.. then before you know it, we are. We get married and expect them to start acting like a husband, and because they never needed to or felt the need to, and we suddenly need them to..they don't. I never married, just was engaged. For me, ive always been insecure, so if someone was attracted to me I thought omg he must actually like me not even realizing that I was/am actually pretty good looking. So yeah, it was a total self esteem booster. I used the sex and the feeling of making them feel good, to make myself feel good. Currenly listening to Women Who Love Too Much* on audible and damn.

I have a story. I actually feel really bad about myself and him for it, but it needs to be said and I need to just let it out. I was newly single, one of the many times my LT ex and I broke up, and a guy started messaging me on Facebook. We had mutual friends, he seemed understanding, and eventually he asked to call and we seemed to get along well. Still leveling up, its a alow process but im getting there. Left a decade long relationship after he became an alcoholic and we had a 3 month old. Realized how much of that relationship was absolutely fucked up as even looking back at him demanding to see what I was texting my friends, and threatening to break my phone was abusive. I went to a friend's house and noticed a dirty ass towel hanging on the hook in their bathroom. A what used to be white towel that was now black with dirt. Later on the husband wanted to show off the light fixture he put in, and I asked if that was the towel he used when he got out of the shower, I couldn't even help myself. Yes! THIS. Its FDS that taught me that my time is not free. So after realizing I became a therapist, and he was basically saving money from using women, I applied FDS and made him pay up. Knowing that he will never message me again for advice, is the best reward. Will be doing this from now on 🙌🙌

This is why I wish there was a way for women to warn other women of men like this, to prevent anyone from having a relationship with someone like this.

Oh.mygod. wtf. WTF. This is so fucked up, traumatic and im speechless and so sorry you had to go through that. Ugh and i hate the when men use "the past" phrase, like we arnt allowed to be upset by the literal trauma they caused us. For my ex, the past could be as far back as a few days.

The memories never go away, but try to change the way you look at them. Think back and see it as a lesson learned and knowing what you will never put up with again, and that you now know the signs to look out for to not be put in those situations again. As someone who is in the same situation, and even consented to what I thought was "normal" when it was really not, I have those same memories that haunt me but I try my best to just move forward and not let them cloud my mind. They still make me …

Amazing Dad. I always liked when a parent spoke up. Too bad it was my ex's Dad, and my ex never listened to a single thing he said. I should have realized, that in itself, was a red flag.

Oddly, 5'11 is the perfect height for me. For some reason I enjoying hugging around the neck, and 5'11 is the most comfortable height for me to do that with. Im not sure why that's a thing for me, but any taller and im on my tip toes, any shorter and it just feels strange. I always thought I was weird for that to be a preference but it is what it is

This was my ex!! Oh dear, its crazy seeing it from this point of view and feel like it was wrote by me. Even when I was pregnant and exhausted, everyday, almost every hour, he would say something sexual, and then get mad at ME for not responding to it. I'd get so upset, and even start crying and he would feel bad..but then an HOUR LATER LIKE HE HAD AMNESIA, HE WOULD DO IT AGAIN. I absolutely felt like an object and justified it as he was just that attracted to me but after it was.so constant, I …

Same. This sub has been a life changer for me. I get the notifications and it seems like everytime I need a reminder, the perfect notification is there for me. I hop on here before and after a conversation with a guy, or when I'm feeling low or really just need to keep the confidence up. I'm on here everyday and LOVING every aspect of it. No longer being a Pickme and being around like minded people is so refreshing and so mentally cleansing. I havent been the same person since FDS.

The fact that there is so much of money to be made for sexualizing women, to where women KNOW that if they make an Onlyfans, and have good physical qualities, that will make them an extra income to help their lives...is just sad. I was there! I was degraded by men because I decided to try out being an "internet model" and when I was uncomfortable with all of the remarks after doing it twice, my ex kept INSISTING we keep doing it, not caring that it made me so uncomfortable. There is money to be …

I would straight up tell my 23 year old self "the ring on your finger, you picked out, hes not going to help plan the wedding because he never wanted the wedding and there will never be a wedding. Hes using you to make himself feel better about himself and he will never put any effort into anything. RUN GIRL RUN." 6 years and a baby later, I learned my lesson the hard way.
