And your point I'd agree with. Crying wolf harbors no sympathy. But if you saw someone attacked by a wolf you wouldn't think their wolf attack invalid just because someone else who they might not even be associated with in any way said they got attacked by a wolf when they didn't actually. It's a fucked up line of reasoning in and of itself, but the only reason the original commentor thinks that way is because it's framed around women and rape.
