If people without resources are allowed to vote, they will vote to get themselves resources. Today that has less to do with someones gender and more to do with their work ethic and opportunities. I think there should be a set period of time that you must be employed for in order to vote. (Eg. You're only eligible to vote in the upcoming election if you've been employed for the past 52 weeks)
