Man, I originally started with a Push pull legs split but I found that too distracting, I couldn't focus on one muscle during a session as it usually fatigued me for the second group of muscles. For example, on a push workout, I'd do my chest compounds and then would be too fatigued to hit the triceps properly so I'd just think"oh fuck it, I can just hit triceps properly on my next push day", I don't have the right mindset for it and I don't find it very enjoyable.
