How interesting that you were taught FW when younger. I was surprised to find out how many FW teachers there used to be and how many ladies attended classes. There are so few teachers now.

What I took from FW was less about pretending not to be capable and more about not deliberately competing with your man with the motivation of "showing him up" or making him look bad to others. For me, FW is about be more genuine not less. And authenticity & truth are important but so is kindness. I have seen authenticity used as a way to justify harsh speech and attacks. But FW teaches a softer & kinder way.

For me, I try to follow the FW principles. I do slip off track (life gets busy etc) but I feel wonderful when I truly live the principles. It really is a life changer.

Fascinating Womanhood would be perfect - it teaches femininity as well as other topics like understanding men, radiant health, and the domestic goddess. They have a Youtube channel, Facebook group as well as teachers to train others to apply the principles to their lives.

Study Fascinating Womanhood - it is a life changer. They also have so many videos on Youtube about the book covering femininity, softness, and conversation. I remember the advice to read fairy tales out loud as a way to improve speech.

I would start by defining what submission means to you & your husband - it tends to look differently in each relationship. Ensure you are getting your self care (not bath bomb self care but the real stuff) as that can really affect your mood. Also look at your health & choices.
