Totally not the point but I haven't seen it mentioned, there's a thing called a professional cuddler/hugger that you can look into

I'm confused, do you want to see her again? Or not see her again? Saying you want to increase her attraction to you but intentionally wanting to make yourself scarce seems contradictory? Or am I missing something

No, on the contrary it feeds into the mental part of sexual attraction. Not saying I get turned on by my partner crying, but crying is very vulnerable and showing that to me really deepens connection which then increases sexual attraction.

I compliment strangers all the time and youd be surprised how often I get a direct "would you like to go out sometime?" back.

My now boyfriend picked up the pendant to the necklace I was wearing and said he liked it and held it for a good couple seconds. It was one of the first times I realized he was probably into me. And looking back the way he looked at me was definitely him checking out if I got freaked out that he had touched me/if I got uncomfy with him pushing a personal space boundary. It's gonna be 3 years this week :)

Then it doesn't go that far and you move on to another person. That's fine. But there is no need to overlap.

I don't see a need to overlap and disagree that it shows fear of competition. "Coming back" is dumb. If you like the person, you won't feel a need to "come back" as you should have been able to tell at the start. And if they do I would argue it's the opposite of what you said: that their other options aren't as good so they'll take what you can get (you allowing them back). And if they didn't "want me" at the start, I would move on as you said. Dating isn't a competition. It's finding the right …

I dont see the need to overlap. Why not just have a first couple dates and then if you don't have an interest move on? There is no need to talk to multiple people at a time. I don't see red flags if someone says they arent talking to anyone. To me, it means they want a meaningful relationship and are taking the time to see if that's with you. And I don't base what I desire on other people's views. I make my own decisions and opinions on my own interactions and experiences.

Disagree. If a guy I was talking to said he was talking to other girls, it would be a huge turnoff and I would think he isnt interested. I would then more than likely cut contact as well. I would want someone to want me back but no overlap. Plus girls are often very territorial and if you're actually interested in a lady and there's overlap there's a huge possibility for the girl feeling grossed out and angry. I don't know of any girls who would enjoy having the guy they are into talking with ot…

Girl here. Simple answer is yes. If a guy leaves (for more than like ~20 min) and another one comes up I'd talk to him and be receptive of if he's trying to hit on me. It normally depends on the first guy: generally you can tell whether he's actually going to come back. Him saying "hey I'm gonna go get a drink, want anything?" Is very clear in saying that he wants to come back. Him saying "so I'm gonna go to the bathroom" is a pretty classic way to get out of the situation and unless he says "I'…
