I think if he had respect, he would have mentioned the possibility of NOT being monogamous sometime earlier in the relationship...to save you the public humility? Just a thought...I think men (and my husband, who's totally Red Pill before we even knew about it) are perfectly capable of being monogamous. -Chicken salad -Homemade soup with bread -Burrito Bowl -Cold steak sandwich with veggies/onions/dressing -Wrap sandwiches -Hummus/dips with chips or veggies (as a side) -Quiche or Frittata You could do smoothies (great for boosting energy) too! We use glassware/stainless steel on the go. You can heat the glass up in the microwave..they are a little more pricey but totally worth it IMO.

Juuuust a thought on the sunscreen: I am one of those "no chemicals anywhere, read labels always" people..and sunscreen (even the well-known, "good" brands) have a whole lotta' crap in them. I don't really know! Past years it's been BBQS followed by fireworks...but with two small(ish) children (six and four) it can be a late night. We just attended a fair with fireworks that were supposed to start at ten...and ended up being delayed until almost 10:30...so we ended up leaving halfway through the display, because my son was loosing it and just so pooped. I haven't read all the responses (I will later!) but I would invest in an essential oil diffuser, and some quality essential oils. They have some wonderful brands/scents out there that can really take the funk out of your place.

We do MOST of these things, except the bed-time thing. My DH is very introverted, and cherishes time alone. So we spend a chunk of each night together doing our husband/wife/best friend thing, but I often go to bed without him. It works : )

We have a pretty large (fenced) in backyard, and than beyond that there's about 5 acres, but we don't use much of it. We have 4 Pygmy goats, and one Alpine..well two counting her baby : ) They have about an acre (maybe a teeny bit less) fenced in and than they get to free range a few times a week.

I just giggled (TV watching chicken, ha!) Yes my kids love love love love love the goats. They are constantly "riding" them, and I just ordered them collars/leads so they can "train" them (which is going to go horribly wrong, I know, ha!)

Yep, I have to agree with this. I absolutely love homeschooling, and wouldn't have it any other way. Having a good "rhythm" helps, and there's so much you can get for free (printables etc) that make it affordable. We have a great homeschooling community here too...if we wanted to "do something" every day of the week, we could (we don't though! I value my time at home!)

Get a goat! They are so much fun, and only 25% annoying They are also our easiest animal. We have them in a pretty large fenced in area, but we also let them out to free range (they will do your weeding + love poison ivy..) In the winter we supplement with hay + a bit of grain + kitchen scrapes (less waste!) and that's it. They eat, and like to get their heads scratched. I've recently lost 30-45lbs. Meat can be crazy expensive, especially for the "quality stuff..." Do you have any farms you can buy directly from? That can cut the cost down quite a bit (and if you have someone to "split a cow with" even better! You can cook wonderful meals, and not gain weight : ) We eat lots of meat. I try to buy grassfed/good quality and now that it's farmers market season that's totally possible.
