11	I’m taking a 90 break from alcohol, and now I don’t feel comfortable going out on first dates. So I've been teetotal now for 5 years and alcohol definitely changes the dating dynamic (as well as general social dynamics). My advice to you from the other side is that, yes, dating will feel more uncomfortable, but that's not always a bad thing. Booze can really dampen how in tune you are with how you feel about your date. In the past, when I was on a kinda crap date, I'd just sink a few drinks and it was salvageable.
