1	He wants an equal relationship with a working wife, I want to be a doting wife/SAHM: are we doomed? That isn't what I meant at all. Perhaps "unrealistic" would have been a better word. I fully agree that it's important to have that time with your children. I myself am a housewife so I'm not arguing for being in the workforce. But I think it's unrealistic to suggest that someone takes a few years out to raise their kids, then expect to be able to go back into the workforce and be in a position to support their spouse to stay at home.
