I actually really love the Baroness and she isn't evil villain at all. She is a good model for femininity. So is Maria, in a different way. Regardless, Maria is better for the Captain because she is willing to take care of his seven children and be a present and doting step mother to them. The Baroness obviously was not as enthusiastic about having a whole lot of misbehaved children who aren't "hers" around her all the time and was arranging for them to attend prestigious boarding schools. I think amoral girl-game can be superior to most of the "be the best person you can be and always be morally righteous and act like a devoutly religious woman" advice that is most often used here. Honestly I doubt he has a PhD, he probably is lying to you. You would be surprised what people will fake to make themselves look more impressive than they really are. If he does have one he probably didn't earn it from anywhere reputable, or earned it at all since he was quick to cheat on something so simple as a 600 word essay. I believe your "boyfriend" is a fraud and a scammer who has been using you as you are an easy target.

You are the problem because you have terrible vetting skills. You are aiding in helping boyfriend be academically dishonest and helping him financially. Look up "Barbara the Builder" and that is who you are playing right now. I don't really agree with everything Shera says and watch her occasionally for pure entertainment/comedy but she often discusses "Barbara the builder" as a woman who tends to be doing well for herself but ends up in a relationship with a low achieving man who she helps "bui…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
